What happens to Dow with Taranto, Prestia and Dusty?

I think he stays in for a pretty high % of CBA's, he's a good extractor, excellent lateral movement and pace, which is missing with the likes of Taranto, Hopper, Prestia and Dusty. His disposal by hand is quite elite but it's a pity that his kicking under pressure is much like his brother's, expect a very high handball-kick ratio, around 2:1

Agree with this. They also need to start playing the younger crop of players, there is alot of talent there. Dow, Green, Sonsie, Brown etc.
They will get alot of opportunity this year.

He had decent cba's in the last 3 games of 2023 and only scored 79,59,68.

Nick Watson (AF $288k SC $189k M/F) continues to impress at Hawthorn, display spark in their midweek intraclub. Hawks assistant coach David Hale said there was “definitely” space for Watson and Jack Ginnivan in their Round 1 team.

Who are some stars of the AFL with a great role who haven’t started scoring like keeper premiums yet?

I have Chad Warner, Matt Rowell, Luke Jackson, Noah Anderson, Nick Blakey.

Next group would be players that have the role, and are in the edge of showing they are stars, players like Wil Powell, Ed Richards, Max Holmes, JHF.

I don’t think guys like Rankine, Bailey, Weitering, Sam Taylor, etc have the role, so aren’t on this list.

Any I’ve missed? These guys are all not in my side at the moment but are high on the watch list for signs of progression early.

It’s a fair question on Luke Jackson.

I’d say Young and Wanganeen-Milera aren’t stars yet, so fit into that middle group. Both have great upside this year.

I'm wondering how much they help you win supercoach versus how hard they are to pick even if they show good early signs. Going from 90 to 100 or 100 to 110 is nice, but it seems like a minor reward. Even with a good start their price is swimming against the MN so they're unlikely to get away from non owners. I'm also thinking that even though they might already have a decent role they might not be at the top of the pecking order within their team. A change in pecking order could be considered a role change. Witherden would fit that criteria. I haven't looked into it but I've had a crack at a few in the past without much success. Do you have some previous examples in mind?
