Alright, time for some early season predictions.
What are your big calls for the first 6 games of the year. Let's not get too far ahead, but who do we think stars, flops and surprises early.

My big call at the moment is that De Goey will average 120+ from the first 6 games (bye is killer for him otherwise I'd be locking him in).

Flop = Butters. I sincerely hope this isn't true as I love watching him play, but I think he'll just tick along to start the year. Low 100s, maybe one fail game and people will jump ship quickly before he goes 130+ for about 5 weeks straight.

Surprise = Marcus Windhager. Big ups on this kid and hope his body holds up for him to support Steele in the midfield.

Yeah, I just wonder whether the Pies coaching staff would have wanted to see more out of Fin when given this amount of opportunity though.

The poor DE and 3 FA possibly of concern also.

The main question will be, is he in their best 23 when all the higher quality players come back in? I think he's on the borderline of best 23 with a big chance of being sub.

I'll give my thoughts at end of the game on this one. No Gulden so far but he's in the squad. McInerney a lot of inside midfield time which is random to me. :LOL:

Pretty strong teams named on both sides, think Harvey Thomas is the only draftee from either team playing.
