Early trades are (using 2nd boost)

OUT: Fisher, Fyfe, and Coffield
IN: Whitfield, Darcy, and Thomas (GWS)

Now have 5 premium's in the backline after trading Whitfield in, plus Massimo. Don't want to risk anymore heartbreak in defense. Left with $130k for next round. Plan is to move on Grundy and Jordon.

Looking like it might be No Trades Nathan this round. Give the cows another week to moo.

No decent rookies long term presenting at this stage. (Have Darcy)

Toying with two options for now:

Option 1: Billings/Gibcus -> Powell/T. Brown


Option 2: Billings/Jordon -> Steele/H. Thomas

would leave team like this:

already used boost twice this would be third time

Don’t think it’s worth using a boost to bring in 3 rookies

Just on the back rookies, McKercher & Roberts will get DP after round 6 so the likes of Reid could be traded to a mid rookie instead from round 7 onwards

Just check your round 6 bye situation to make sure you have enough cover with Rich/Melb on the bye - it’s why I am skipping Brown as I have Howes & Hore like you.

Will hold LDU North have faced some tough midfields but their run should get a lil more friendlier.

Want to trade Fisher real bad but the looming DPP addition is something to factor in.

Chasing up some opinions as can never stop learning in this game.

Would it be worth trading Duursma for Darcy and Reid for Brown or hold all trades?

Will grab Gawn for Grundy after the WCE game.

Walsh will come into the midfield soonish and hopefully can flick Nic Martin into defence.

We can plan so much, then bang, injuries screw us over lol

Early thoughts are moving on Billings with his high BE & bye coming up for Darcy.
it would give me the cash to go Howes > Bramble, no back rookies on the field leaving Hore & Reid on the bench. Really like Bramble’s role/ round 15 bye & being DP

Could move Jordan instead of Reid and grab Green instead, but feel as if that is less of a points on-field plus...
Reid out feels less dangerous than Jordan.

Or could just forego Miller/Green another week and let the pigs fatten - they are just the only two boys I'm worried about not having.

Dropped to 9,000 places to 13,000 overall this week…

Picking Marshall over Gawn is killing me & LDU isn’t doing me any favours as my other POD…

Anyways, this week I’m trading hard:
Out: Daicos, Billings, Coffield
In: Whitfield, Darcy, Bramble

The slight restructure means I don’t have a rookie defender on field with Bramble, D‘Ambrosio & Williams rounding out my D4-D6.

Williams has the lowest on field average for me as well now of 64.7 and it’s nice not having to worry about Howes, Hore or any other defender rookie entirely spudding it up anymore.

Jordan & Grundy > Conway & English is the play for next week at this stage I reckon.

Dependent on Darcy getting name, potn needs only one game to be DPP which is handy since no Jackson.

Billings > Darcy
Fyfe > Harvey Thomas
Howes > Stewart

Can afford any rookie to the $175k. If better options in fwd or mids then will consider. Don’t see too many appealing players and Harvey does have a strong +100 in his cycle.

Howes still could make money towards 270k level, yet 27 in cycle and then his bye means he struggles to create value for three rounds.

Fortunate Stewart held back by weather but looks the goods again. Sicily was considered, just hard to trust this early in the season.

Brown best of bad group. Can easily hold reid if usable as free look at rookie defenders.
