I'm only for a D6/7 trade personally if its to avoid a donut as I've got a sneaky suspicion that in a fortnights time a Clohesy/Graham/Parnell/Worner is alot better rookie than either of the guys on the bubble this week so that's fine in your situation.

Must admit I'm not a fan of a Max King trade in though, for every Harry McKay there's 5 key forwards that really end up being nothing picks and hes got GWS and Western Bulldogs post this game which won't be easy.
What attracts me to King is that he has GWS and Bulldogs in best 18 scoring weeks, them move him on after hopefully pocketing some quick cash generation.

Remember Green has played Roos and WCE he was always going to start on fire, he doesn’t get to play them again this year. Green yes likely to be top 10 but I bet he comes back to the pack in the next month. Happy to let him go when this time of the year is about value.
Something I'm grappling with as a non-owner. Decision on whether I need to pull the trigger and upgrade a Rozee type to or let go for a while.

thoughts on max king? very few fwd options apart from the main 4(flanders, heeney jackson, powell)- already have those 4
One other thing to consider with King is Norwood oval is pretty short and extremely skinny, so it won't be easy to switch the point of attack and could be a crowded forward 50. Could also be a lot of on the full kicks in or just generally tricky ones for a key forward to dominate.

Some really interesting discussion on the merits of LDU > Green over the past couple of pages. I’d be relying on Sexton getting dropped to open up funds but don’t love that it would be a boost. Gonna see what teams present tonight before making a decision. Having all boosts in hand after this week could be lovely come upgrade season.

King kicked 6 on Richmond last year and didnt even ton, I just think people are asking to trade him in and cop 50s really.

Jeremy Cameron is the one KPF I want but a BE of 140.

Dogs with Jones/Khamis without changes and then North. I may look this week at having enough ITB next week to go Jordon > Cameron in 1 trade.

Jezza playing a mile up the ground this year, next fortnight will be good but Brisbane,Carlton,Melbourne,Port,Gold Coast and GWS to follow isnt very appealing reading.

Yeh doesn't look appealing for a few of those.

Brisbane has Payne out of form and Carlton without a 2nd KPD can leak goals, like last season when he played on Young for 149 points.
The play would be to down to a big one vs Bulldogs then going into North.

Looking beyond the six you mention is very appealing and may be cheap before those fixtures.

Are there any stats available on likely KPF changes at round 6?

Tossing up between bringing in Steele or Flanders. Leaning Flanders given he's a higher certainty to finish top 6-8 in his position, but it'll mean closing my mid-fwd loop in the short term, which I think I'll be okay with.

For some reason I have in my head that Sanders will likely gain FWD

My Team post first two trades of this week (Coffield -> Draper, Jordon -> Darcy).

Thinking I may use the boost. What do people think about the following options:

Howes -> Whitfield (95k Bank)
Marshall -> English (340k Bank)
Windsor -> L.Jackson (75k Bank)
Windsor -> H.Thomas (482k Bank (Thomas -52 BE compared to Windsor 33 BE (85 difference and a 104 in the cycle for another week for Thomas).

Windsor -> T.Green (via D.Wilson) (3k in bank)

I think I really like one of the last two trades as it would give me the following team for this week and then I would just need to really push to upgrade forwards when clear top 6 forwards become clear.

Touch and go for Sanders - this is from the herald sun articles thread

Ryley Sanders
Midfield 62%
Forward 38%
While most of us have been fixated on Luke Beveridge going full Bevo and subbing out Sanders and Tom Liberatore in the first three rounds, the Bulldogs coach might gift us the No.6 draft as a FWD-MID. Sanders is on the borderline of the 35 per cent threshold and will be a big watch in coming weeks.

Not much discussion in here on the merits of bringing in Bramble this week.

Even after his initial price rise to 347K, he can still be a viable cash cow if he continues to average 90+

More importantly though, he would replace a Sexton/Sam Darcy on field (through DPP) for me. So even if he falls short of a 90 average, he may still provide significant benefit with improved on field scoring over a F6 rookie.

The 10 kick-ins he’s taken over the first 3 weeks (played on from all) is the most enticing part about Bramble and certainly helps bolster his scoring.

Thoughts?

I needed the cash from trading Howes to Darcy to afford Green. I now need to hold Howes to avoid a donut due to Hore getting injured.
Ah okay I get you. I'm in a position where I can freely move Hore/Reid to Darcy through a DPP swing with Yeo.

It's 50k extra to grab LDU but I can do it now. Do you think I should grab him now and worry about who my M6-8 will be later? I genuinely believe Green could be M1-M2 this year and $650k for him doesn't seem too outrageous, but I know a down game will come - just don't know when.

I'd be all over Windsor > Powell, the Green move looks appealing but leaves you heavy in mids while fielding a lot of forward rookies.

Yeah, I would grab Green now in your position.

yep, not too keen on letting Sexton or Burgess go just yet, Fyfe/Reid an option to move on too i guess.
Local observation up on the GC suggests Sexton is on thin ice and won't be the 'experiement' he is for much longer. Should be on the trade table next week or even this week if he's Sub as some have suggested.

Considering Jordon to Flanders with my 2nd trade this week, or hold off until next week (Jordon has WCE and Flanders has GWS). Thoughts?
