Considering Jordon to Flanders with my 2nd trade this week, or hold off until next week (Jordon has WCE and Flanders has GWS). Thoughts?
Happy to get this done early, while Jordon could do well this week Adams is back and he's been underwhelming to the eye despite Sydney midfield injuries. You'll def want Flanders in the final team so might as well grab now at a decent price.

One to watch depending on how he goes is Will Graham (Suns). Looks like he'll play mid / wing / HB in a swing role. Listed as a defender currently so if he gets a bit of the ball, he'll be one to watch for a strong money making bench spot in the next few weeks. Then again - if he stinks it up!!

with adams back jordon will get even less mid time than he was getting, started the year in a good role but doesnt have it anymore. can see the appeal in holding him against WCE but they dont tend to give up huge scores just a lot of 70s

More interested in Clohesy, thought he was a class above VFL level and deserves the opportunity.

Thinking of pulling the trigger on 3 trades this week to address my defense, especially as I'm still holding Gibcus / Coffield / Reid .

Option 1
Gibcus > Brown
Jordon > Darcy
Fyfe > Miller or Steele

Feeling like Brown has good JS and upside with so many Tiger injuries, plus liking his DE. This also lets me upgrade to another Premo (giving me 13 in total at Rd 4), but slightly nervous that Jordon and/or Fyfe still have a few $k to make. This fixes the bye issue with Jordon next week though.

Option 2
Gibcus > Brown
Fyfe or Jordon > Darcy
Coffield > Bramble or Keane

Toss of a coin between Fyfe and Jordon for the cash generation, but Fyfe higher BE so closer to topping out maybe. Coffield to Bramble lets me have at least one playing defender on the bench, Bramble looks solid, but not a huge fan of MPs, maybe better value with Keane (BE -17 and 118 score last round that hopefully generate more cash) - small chance that Bramble becomes D6 or is that silly talk?

Simpler option is just the two trades to bring in Brown and Darcy, build the war chest and save a trade for the bye round next week...

God I hate this game...

Coffield -> Draper
Jordon -> Darcy
LOCKED

Then either:

Windsor -> H.Thomas (start cash gen and give me 480k in the bank and then go for upgrades next week).
or
Windsor -> T.Green (closes Mid/Fwd loop for time being, gives me only 2 forward premos (Heeney, Flanders) and 6 forward rookies (Reid, Dempsey, Sexton, Cadman, Wilson, Darcy).

Would ideally be looking to upgrade those to a forward when one presents themselves but would also mean Carroll, Sharp and Clark on mid bench which is a lot of solid rookies.

Thinking I take the upgrade when I can as Tom Green looks like a genuine 700k player and lost points every week not having him. But Harvey Thomas having a 107 in his rotation this week (BE -52) and next week could honestly see him make 125k+ very quickly.

Big conundrum.

My conundrum this week is to trade Dawson to Touk/Steele or hold Dawson. Not sure which way to go.
Same here.
Have been screwed by my POD 'premiums' this year.
Dawson, Brayshaw, Young, Newcombe, Marshall>Gawn...

Of course I traded out Young last week before his 130. I'll probably do the same to Dawson this week.
Disaster.

As long as Dawson passes the eye test, you're fine.

Young had 18 clangers over his first two games, so I kneejerk traded him. It may work out over the long run, but when you are getting 27 touches with a bunch of clangers, you're bound to fix it eventually. Especially for a guy with premium scoring history.

I’m going to Bramble this week.
I was surprised (dismayed) when we picked him up at the Dogs… at the start of the season I would have lol at the thought of him in my SC team, but you have to go with what you see.
He looked very good in the praccy match and now 3 straight top-flight matches and scores.
At this stage, D6 is a realistic proposition

I feel your pain.
He's out for me and in comes Flanders, with hopefully Steele & Touk in the next 2 weeks.
Trading him to Green myself. To my eye, Crouch is taking points/mid-time off him and he's not the CD poster child of effectiveness this year. That, plus some good old emotional "I'm fed up with this sh*^" rage.

To anyone who holds: when he scores 150 tonight, you can thank me

Considering the field of premium defenders out there, he will need to average 105+ to be D6 standard - I think that might be asking too much.

He could still be a decent stepping stone if he averages 85-90 though...

I think I saw someone post stats in the preseason to support that as well.

Fair comment. I doubt he’ll be top 8-10 overall, but at $348K, if he plays anything like he has so far, he can sit at D6 for a large part of the season
