RE: Tristan Xerri (AF $716k SC $440k RUC) @NMFCOfficial coach Al Clarkson on being sole ruck: “He’s shouldered a big responsibility with the support of CJ. We’ve got to think about the whole season. He could shoulder that for 6-8 weeks but halfway through the season he’s cooked."
I'm not sure what Clarkson is saying? Xerri will miss games during the season, or CJ will do more rucking, or what???

Watched the press conference. He's saying Xerri could ruck by himself (90% ruck contests etc) but after 6-8 weeks, his body would be sore, he'd be more susceptible to injuries etc.
He would rather have a 2nd tall in the team (previously CCJ) who would be able to ruck 20% of the game (or at least 20% when combined with Larkey) rather than have Xerri run into the ground in the short-medium term, and be too tired/injured to play out the back half of the season.
Potentially why a bigger/taller body like Comben is going to come into the team this week, rather than someone like Sellers who would be less likely to provide a ruck chopout.

As a Sexton owner: "This is ridiculous, the bloke's done nothing wrong and he can still be a great pick. Everyone needs to keep their powder dry and wait for teams to drop."
As someone who traded Sexton for Powell last week: "Nah his cooked ay."
Either way it goes for Sexton (and Berry), I would rather know tonight that he’s gone, and not be stuck on the extended bench, with it in limbo.
Have to decide on my MID or FWD rookie out tonight, as Windsor who could be my required out (if all others are playing) would need to be traded tonight.
