Really looking forward to the completion of round 6. I currently have eight on Jaiden’s dpp list. That will become nine if the likely Comben inclusion occurs once he’s on the bubble.

Some serious versatility incoming.
Yeah I need to carefully think my trades through this week noting I can move a number of players to defence and forward week after.

Grundy - > Meek
Z Reid - > Clohesy

Builds some Bank

Have another look at Comben , Graham & Ramsden
Leaves me with 30 trades left

$ 177,600.00 in the Bank

Probably have 11 upgrades to make (including Powell & King)

Rough estimate of $ 550,000.00 per trade in player (higher in some positions than others) = $ 6,050,000.00

Less current value of the 11 players I need to upgrade = $ 3,399,000.00 (this rises each round)

Need to find $ 2,651,000.00 (will decrease) (which is about 17 "perfect" downgrades , won't get anywhere near 17 more viable bubble boys)

7 on the bench , current prices - $ 125k x 7 = $ 501,600.00 (will increase)

Going to have to milk every dollar possible and try and pick up some bargains wherever possible.

Also not keen on upgrading Grundy to English, going alright, not amazing but if that’s your biggest problem you’re going well! English too expensive and not looking like a must have right at this moment. But being ultra agressive with the Sydney bye has an argument.

Might just go Howes to Clohsey early to avoid any loss of value from another poor Howes score

Also can’t wait for DPP changes

I agree that Grundy isn't a disaster but his price doesn't look like getting a big spike and if he's not in my future plans I might as well use his money while he is on the bye to increase my points and increase my cash.
This is my thinking - doesn't seem a must hold so it's good timing to shift him when he isn't providing a score.

Would love to do Grundy > English, but just can't justify that price with English's current scores. I have Jackson, so might just wait a couple more weeks and hope English decreases, although Jackson is likely too as well...

At this stage, will use my 3rd boost just because I have to get rid of Coffield.

Coffield, Grundy, Jordon > Clohesy, Whitfield, Martin

Wouldn’t be bringing Gawn in with his bye next week, hold off on that trade….
do you have Jackson in your team? If you do, you can trade Grundy to a midfielder or forward via Jackson…

I’m backing in my Grundy > English trade. I’ve already got Marshall and with Gawn’s bye next round, I’m hoping the Marshall/English setup can gain me some points over the next two rounds… Also, you’d think it’s between those two and Gawn to be the best options from here on out and with where I’m ranked (11,000) betting against Gawn seems like the best chance of a potential surge up the rankings!

I would pull the trigger whilst you’ve got money in the bank and get either English or Marshall in this round, gets a rookie off field this round and they both probably put 10-15 points on Grundy for every week you hold.
Trading Grundy means I miss out on double upgrade in the mids next week.
It would be English, premo mid, rookie VS Grundy + 2 premo mids.

Getting rookies off field would be more important.

Tempted to bring Clohesy in for D'Ambrosio and use the cash to upgrade Jordon to Martin or Flanders, but worried that leaves me exposed with two rookies on field down back.

I didn't actually see the Suns game, do we think Clohesy is likely to be a relatively reliable on field scorer and what role was he playing?
First Suns game I watched this year, kid played like a pro. Good composure, nice neat kicking and put himself in the right positions. I was impressed

Yes and Yes.
No CBA's on the weekend, is this the new norm and if so I don't know how I feel about it.

Plan was to bring him in this week but significant role change has me worried. Can he get DEF status later down the track or is he limited now to MID/FWD?
