lol…why ask so many questions in your responses @Connoisseur ?
Of course there is rationale behind the top 1,000 PAR as I sit just outside that overall…

Not every comment needs to be dissected or broken down but understand everyone also entitled to their own opinions…
Questions are rhetorical and meant to get others to stop and think whilst ideally being helpful. It is not solely limited and not directed to who I am responding to as the same questions could be posed to anyone or someone that may post a similar thing later in the season, etc. I am not expecting answers to the question nor is there an answer or a right answer.

In relation to par, I can respond to any par question for the remainder of the season with the answer yes and I gather it is unlikely I will be pushed to provide further and solid reasoning for coming to that conclusion. If I answer no, then I gather I will be asked. Those asking the question want to hear one answer, so we may as well give them what they want. The point I am trying to make with the line of “questioning” is what credibility or validity does it hold and is it worthy of being preoccupied and worried about when the answer will be provided in less than 24 hours. It could change within that time if an injury occurs to a popular player, a late out, a poor performance, etc. Too many occasions you see people worry on a Saturday and then come Sunday night receive a green arrow and thus there was no point ever concerning themselves.

In reference to entitled to their own opinions, this is why I pose the question. Someone might define par similar to yourself, someone else may feel it means something else and so on. There could be an incongruence between their definition, rank, goal, etc. Fix that and it becomes a much more enjoyable experience. My preference was to rely on a resource such as nico’s if I was concerned about par whereas now without I don’t care.

We all know what Par means, and yes it remains very important this year, like every year - even if we don’t have an exact number via SuperCoachData tweets.

Without it our scores are meaningless, and it’s perfectly reasonable to ask it try to get an understanding how the field is going.

Bit of tension in the air at the moment around here!

I think with any question that gets a response you could say similarly on this website, it is an opinion with the facts coming out in time.

Does Crouch and Butter get suspended?

No different to am I close to PAR. Whilst sad not to have Nico’s data, I think we can still gauge this to an extent. Don’t think the answer has to be what they want either, may just be based on your interpretation of league info.

SCSer’s can easily not reply if it is excessively getting asked or pointless question. Views on something like PAR is valuable to everyone even though you cannot change it.

Anyway, is everything ok Connoisseur? I noticed you responses to a few posts and thought maybe something was different. Fine to question a question, just excessive lengthy response suggested something else may be at play.

16/1716 Gawn or 12/1475

Sharp, Wilson, Howes and Cadman the lowest.

LDU, Fisher, Powell, Sheezel, McKercher and Dempsey to come.

Lots of good scores on here so far.
I can counterbalance those good scores with what feels like unders....

13/1384 Gawn

Lots of middling scores with 9 between 64-94, 4 rookies to come so haven't got high hopes

4 lowest scores Sanders 46 , Jackson 72 , Green 72 :eek:, Bont 73 :eek::eek:. Stewart, Clark, Campbell, Sheezel, McKercher, Brown & Reid to go.

Meek not a disaster but hoped for a bit more especially after the first half. Obviously got hurt by the knee in the kidneys and didn't play the last 15 minutes. Hopefully he plays next week. A one week stay in my team was not the plan.

Might have missed a trick waiting on Clohesy & Graham but never getting both and one would have been for D'Ambrosio who did pretty well.
Meek should be a hold for at least next week with best 18.

Bank it in your mind Donny, I don't think trading in key forwards (as a keeper) in anytime is a viable idea, even if they've been in red hot form for weeks, they can just as easily turn ice cold and fast.
Yeah never had him pegged as a keeper. I thought he would score well against the tiges last week, because they've leaked points to KPFs this year, then one or two 60-80 type scores and flip him for 150k.

17/1697, projected 1917
Bont, Sanders and Jackson the only disappointments so far, but almost everyone ahead of me has them, so no biggie.

Will be interesting to see where I land.

Round 2, 1951 had me at 50,000 for the week
Round 3 1957 had me at 8,000 for the week
Round 4 2329 had me at 6497

I can honestly say this game is much more enjoyable if you can avoid looking at your overall ranking each week (y) This game eats away at you over the years if you're not careful - time for me anyway to enjoy the game and not get too hung up over it.

I have a gut feel where I'm at and I'm content with that.

Well what can I say, 18/1454 vc Bont C McKay for the same score 😉
Brought in Powell from the GC the same week Flanders moved to half back, unfortunate, can't change that, might stick with it. Clohesy on the pine, I'll be eagerly awaiting a late out to get his 124 onfield.

But trading Hayden Young and seeing him tonne up these past 4 fixtures is difficult to watch.
