Out:

Lazarro, McKercher, Cadman

In:

Gulden, Graham, Drury/Nyoun

Was planning on boosting the next 3x weeks to cash in on my maxxed out rooks. My issue is going to be finding solid rookies to downgrade to. I already took Clohesy & Comben last week. Next week planning another 2 down, 1 up to Tracc.

Initial thoughts are:
Jordon, McKercher, Clark > Graham, Nyuon/Drury, Walsh

Might end up being a triple downgrade week and then aim to bring in Gawn to fill in that gap in the ruck line.

King has to go regardless. He's not a keeper and will bleed cash in coming weeks. Made 50k, but a failed experiment for me.
I think you are right , I need to move someone onfield on to generate some cash.

King - > Comben
McKercher (BE 101) - > Graham

Get some Bank

Have another look at Drury , Garcia , McAuliffe (BYE) & Nyoun then try and bring in 1-2 premium mids or defenders

Mckercher has messed up my trades! 1k off getting in dunkley. Haven't decided yet; Graham and comben in...mckercher and someone out. Was going to boost but will look at the numbers.

Thinking Sanders will continue to be a sub risk and could go 80,40,80,40 type pattern so maybe time to cull, thanks to crazy Bevo.
It's amazing how a guy who scores 0 pts every round ends up being the most important person in Supercoach . Bevo is now responsible for:
  • killing our cash gen in Sanders
  • creating an ultra value Macrae (who we're all scared of)
  • subbing Libba off after half a game
  • taking Caleb Daniel completely out of our SC calculations
  • sometimes sticking Bont at FF

Anyone skipping Comben? Could the 75 help scored today be more the norm than the 100 average he's currently holding over two games? Or that def/fwd swing too valuable?

Seems everyone is adding him.
Couple 70s and he makes 100k in a fortnight, their matchups arent particularly tough either feels a pretty obvious trade in.

He'll make a quick $80K-$110K you'd think but I have enough cash generating rookies IMO and would like to get the $ into upgrades quicker rather than tying up the $100K or so difference (from Comben to a Ramsden type) in him, as well as having to trade him out in a few rounds.

Liber out makes me hopefully sanders might get a full game. Will know Thursday night. If he's not starting sub i will keep sanders. He has scored really well when not subbed. If he can go 3 games in a row without being subbed i reckon he could average 80 through the 3 weeks and make another 50. But yeah Bevo could do anything. Might even drop him as a lesson after he sulked when subbed
Forgot about Libba. The fact that Dogs play the first game this week does make him more of an enticing hold, as can loop his score too (for teams like me with Matt Crouch, or if Carroll/Clark are dropped from the 23 etc)

Is $100k enough though? Given he’s already $100k above other options.

My feeling at this stage is we want to free up cash not use $100k we don’t have to on a $230k player with a terrible injury history,

Particularly if it’s pushing Reid to your bench,

Look at what Darcy has done from $123k.

Free up cash at this stage don’t tie it up I reckon.

Thomas survives and Carroll now the favourite to be traded if Comben or Georgiades back it up for a fwd line of Heeney, Fyfe, Reid, Comben/Georgiades, Dempsey, Darcy, Cadman and Thomas. One boost remaining so may hold it or could use it if I wish to trade Sanders and D’Ambrosio.
Looks to be a pivotal round for trades. Went early on both Clohesy and Graham but could be lots of options this round and next. Daicos now moved to the midfield to allow Clohesy at D6. One boost remaining and do not mind using it this round but I gather RD7 would be the better use after dual position announcements. Can hold Sanders but with the current structure he would need to be onfield since a few more ten thousands may not outweigh the points received by say grabbing Walsh, fwd premium etc next round. Feel Fyfe could be a sub risk against the Eagles and can generate $165k odd by downgrading to Lohmann. Can also go up to Flanders as it is hard to find any enticing options priced above Comben.

Drury, Nyuon and McAuliffe all possibly on the bubble in RD7, so may go early again but this time only on one and Carroll to McAuliffe would currently be the preferred option and can allow Roberts and Sanders to be looped.

I feel you’d be better skipping Comben and punting one of the north $123k rookies if named. Then upgrade Dempsey to Flanders with a boost.
Your forwards don’t look strong enough to me

Currently torn between
Hore/clark/mckercher to clohesy/graham/comben with 170k Bank.
Or
Howes/mckercher/dempsey to clohesy/graham/Stewart. Cash in dempsey and howes a tad early, and continue to put off the problematic clark and hore, but get another premo in and keep the upgrade train rolling. I'm leaning this way.
Sharp/williams/massimo/sanders all options instead of dempsey, they just felt like they had a little bit more cash to give.

Interesting trade week at this stage. I've got Crouch (holding), Sanders (not sure), McKercher (expendable), Carroll (expendable), Clark (expendable but hasn't made that much money), Jackson (about to drop another $30K but I would like to hold for at least one more week), McKay (up to $495K and will start to drop $ now) & Cadman (BE 40 but others more justifable to drop)

I'll hold Jackson/McKay this week and look to move them for a Green/Daicos/Marshall/English type over the next 1-2 rounds.

I still have interest in Ramsden, who should at least get another game against North this week. He'll likely get dropped for Lewis the week after but there is a chance Lewis is going to struggle with injuries this year and Ramsden will get his chance. McAuliffe is another who is possibly out for Hopper after the bye, but I am probably happy to hold these fringe rookies at M10/M11 & F8, if it improves my 18. Nyuon another who could be on the bubble next week.

McKercher > Ramsden
Carroll > McAuliffe
Sanders > Touk

I am $20K short of Cadman > Touk, and don't want to go Cadman > Yeo, so it's a bit of a conundrum this week. I of course could just not upgrade, but feel plenty of rookies to be churned over (McKercher/Sanders/Carroll/Clark/Cadman/Sharp/Massimo etc) as well as LJ/McKay who I don't see as keepers, so best to get the ball rolling this week
