Do i take Kohli's 67 as my captain? Im leaning towards taking it, probably too early in the comp to swing for the fences. If it was <55 i would chance it but i reckon I'll lock 67 in and hope other popular captains dont score too high
Without looking at your team, I find that score in the mid range to take as captain. You need to pair it with the bench score you would be looping on field to take it. Ideally you would want to be in a position to see your bench scores before deciding, but that may not be possible? I would take it in a heartbeat if paired with a good score, but I would probably roll the dice if I had to loop on a score <40.

Should I access the Klassen VC by using my second boost to get a loophole or use M Yadav (have not checked when he is due to return) which means receiving the Reddy 12?
Would want to be very sure Mayank isn't playing if you go that route. Lucknow play last this round so you may be forced to commit to it if he plays. Otherwise look at say, Vinod as a keeper donut.

Can you adjust your trades and trade Singh Rathore to Vinod (ruled out of IPL with injury)

MI play the 4th game of the round the next 4 rounds

Play the first one of Pant & Nicky P @ WK2 each round

So im attempting to run through all permutations in my head. Currently $350,200 in the bank

Of note... most importantly i have another trade in hand for the round (its my last boost)

So im committed to looping Pant & Pooran at the WKP but i also have to consider whether i take kohli's 67 as captain. If Pant doesnt perform im going to swing pooran into WKP and most likely trade VInod to either a playing or non playing bowler via K.Pandya.

That way i can take Chahal's score. If both Pant and Chahal fail i trade Vinod to a playing batter/bowler under $640,200 - maybe Rahul

If Pant scores well and Chahal fails i have the luxury of using the trade to get someone like Curran for Pandya OR i keep the boost.

If i do this correctly i get to:

See Pant & Chahal's scores and decide whether to take both, one of their scores or neither. IF i take neither i will need to trade Vinod to a batter/bowler (via Pandya) under 640,200 & I'll need to make someone else captain. That will need to be Jadeja/R.Sharma/Bumrah/Pooran/Pandya or who i trade in.

To make this simple, i really hope Pant scores well so i can leave my team as is, take his score and Kohli's 67 as captain and then i can decide what i do with my last trade based on how Chahal performs on my bowlers bench.

Currently looking at the following:
OUT: Pooran, Shepherd, Krunal
IN: Reddy, Pant, Dube
Bank $839,100

Still tossing around ideas though, I've got plenty of other options on both sides of the trading equation. The more conventional route might be QDK out instead of Pooran - but I think Pooran is maxed out and I would much rather have my Lucknow batter up against Chennai's opening bowlers rather than Pathirana at the end. Have to weigh that against QDK often being subbed out though. Tricky.

Sick of Pant making me look silly every week, so he's in. Delhi have the next double so starting to think about who I would want from there, and then Chennai after that. Dube is my favourite from that side, has a very clear role and is executing it very well. Another one who is often sub though so might be a bit of a gamble. Reddy the best money making option but also has an incredible looping draw for the rest of the season, so whether he actually performs is less relevant. If he flops I can just trade him back out when the ton rolls out.

The one I like but don't have room for right now is Salt. He'll probably launch in price again by the time bringing him in makes sense, but against Rajasthan might be the worst matchup for him - RR look about the only team that can cause genuine powerplay damage (9 PP wickets in their first three games). It's a big part of why they look so good.

The wild option I was looking at was ditching all BWL only altogether - it just doesn't look like the comp for them right now. Someone as good as Chahal or Bumrah can be a safe option on a double but it just feels like all the points are coming from the genuine bats. Having a quick look at the top 20, only three are BWL only players, and only six allrounders, of which Dube does not bowl at all, Russell has been pretty occasional this season, and Hardik hasn't really had a clue when to use himself.
Interesting team by aggregate

2 Kohli , 4 Pooran (WK) , 6 Rohit , 7 Parag , 9 Pant (WK) / 11 Rahul (WK) , 13 Gill

3 Samson / 10 Kishan

1 Narine * , 5 Curran * , 8 Bumrah , 12 Dube * , 14 Russell * / 15 Chahal , 17 Jadeja *

Gaikwad & Jaiswal haven't got going yet either

Stubbs (WK) is actually 16th

Either seems viable to me assuming that M Yadav is a donut. 128 from 1 player + C is fine.

Thank you all. Boosting for Vinod.

Considering Salt as well, I think his BE is much better than Pant's and despite what I said about Royals in the powerplay, they have dropped off a cliff since Burger left the side. Not back yet so I might take the punt. Just look at KKR's upcoming draw, too...

Brought Parag on and Salt on the bench... Probably should have put Jaiswal in the bench spot but I was too late trying to switch. Probably doesn't matter as I'll likely need to take that score anyway.

And now Salt dropped on 0 by Parag!!
