Ooph, very nearly did the Gawn trade myself. These ones are bloody hard to swallow.
I was very tempted as well. Conundrum now is that no one is putting their hand up to be R2. I might keep painting the other lines for a while.

Finding myself tempted by Noah Anderson… am I being too cute? Young talent, scoring history improving each year, capable of monster scores, 118 average currently and under $600k 🧐
I personally am considering him as a POD premium for M8…
need to be willing to accept the lower floor of 80-100 scores that will be lifted by the larger ceiling…

natural progression would suggest he'll be a solid pick for the year. essentially 105 last year and good shot at 110+.

if it's only because of price then Petracca and Walsh are both under $600k soon too. Others in LDU and Dawson are also cheap if they can bounce back

EDIT: Anderson scores 70s and 80s quite often for a premo, so he may drop in price below this at some point

Personally I don't think Anderson has the consistency yet so would prioritize the other targets around a similar price. He has the ability to hit a big spike score but he needs to raise his floor as the spread of scores is too great atm. He absolutely has the talent and ability, but when you can get more consistency for the same spend across other players I just think it's reaching a little. When it comes together he'll be a gun.. but just doesn't feel like a trade you need to force now.

Feeling like I need to jump on either Matt Rowell or Luke Ryan now, based on SC Plus projections, but still considering Young as he's $75k cheaper...
Awesome, thanks. So I don't necessarily have to plan to grab him next week then
This is what is projected for the Bont for the next few weeks, but feels optimistic based on current form:

Did Sanders > Clohesy last night. Likely to also do Mckercher > Comben.

I have 4 boosts left, but I'm guessing it would be a waste to use one to go Clark > Biggie? Is it still a waste if Clark is starting sub, or do I just suck up the cash loss?

Really want a fwd and don't want my change sitting on the pine. I only have Flanders and Powell as keepers.

Cadman to Heeney or Clark to Jeremy Cameron. I know Cameron will give you the 40s but overall I'm figuring top 6. So torn on the money in Heeney

Going in circles trying to work out best Premo upgrade option. Looking at projections, both Matt Rowell and Luke Ryan may still be relatively affordable at current price with both potentially becoming M1 and D1 respectively - Ryan has only gone up $40k but averaging 135 for the season so far!. I can get Rowell at his current price, but would need to trade out Massimo to get Ryan.

What's the logic behind downgrading Gawn? #1 ranked player for total points & #3 by average. Auto VC/C option.
Marshall plays two more games than him between this round and round 14.

The 90k made from the trade allows Daicos to be added to my team this week.

Hopefully Marshall can score similarly to Gawn in the rounds they both play.

Marshall/English to Gawn likely to occur come round 15.

Wasn’t anticipating Marshall to score 51 on debut.
