Agree he prob has a slight niggle. He also seems to be a player that allows that to impact him more than others would.
I totally disagree. He plays through injuries others wouldn't think of fronting up with. He played with a broken collarbone and was playing a few weeks after a plate was inserted in his shoulder.

I didn't pick him not only because he will play through injury but also because he's "old" for his 28 years. He probably sets off the metal detectors at airports.

He has a knee issue, its really effecting his ability to run outside of contests. It's sad because the man is a savant at contests and a fantastic footy player when fit.

This situation was almost a formality that it was going to happen at some stage in the season, owners who started are winners, take the points and the cash and move him on I reckon.

Those who have started all of Steele, Yeo, Fyfe etc have been running a gauntlet that was always going to end up like this for at least one of them.

947/7 (Gawn C)
Going early on Sweet was excellent. Fielding Garcia over Wilson not so much. Will get Wilson’s score by looping Reid so not all bad.

Onto Saturday where hopefully the North and LDU comedy show takes a shift in the right direction.

Gawn VC 162x2
Green 159
Daicos 128 :)

Gawn huge once again. Biggest VC/C score of the year so far personally. Green with a much needed response to the previous 2 weeks and prevents his price from falling very low for non-owners to pounce on. Wasn’t expecting a big outing v Brisbane so a pleasant surprise. Daicos good on debut. Influential finish to the game helped him sky rocket his score.

Steele, Houston, and Bonner in his revenge game tomorrow night. Also taking the highest score out of Wilson and H.Garcia using Reid.
7/942
Houston 107
Wilson E 88
Steele 70 :rolleyes::sick:
Bonner 66 :(

Houston quite disappointing given the opponent and share of the pie Port received. Teammates in similar roles in Burgoyne, Farrell and Bergman went well above their current averages but Houston didn’t reap those rewards. Wilson with a well timed spike game and using Reid to take his score. Steele terrible again. Tackle numbers were still there. To be fair it was a very low stoppage game which is where he does his best work and lots of other inside mids struggled tonight. Didn’t look overly interested and his pace didn’t look up to it, maybe carrying an injury. Hopefully a Green type comeback is on the cards. Bonner not great. Was hoping for a big revenge game against the team that delisted him. Has been on the chopping block every week since round 3, but others have taken priority or plans have changed at team selection (Sanders). Scored at an 80 average and made just over 100k, solid starting pick. Should finally be the week he departs with Bont bottoming out and warranting a trade in.

In Ross's presser he talked about " young fella with the ACL"

Anyone know what he was referring to?
