Assuming Rogers & Sweet are both selected , they both look most likely.

Will need to see new BE for Cadman/Campbell/Comben and see if I can upgrade one of them.

Did have Sicily pencilled in.

If I were to trade Powell I don’t know which fwd ‘premium’ I would trade him too.

Rankine, Bolton, Moore, Macrae, Cameron all have their issues.

Jezza probably the one I like the most. Think those that make the right call on the forward line this week and next will be those who get the chocolates at the end of the year.

Draper -> Parish
Marshall -> Sweet
Sharp -> Rogers

507k in the bank.
Double upgrade next week hopefully:
Meek -> English
Cadman -> Oliver

Think there’s still cash in: Z.Williams, Graham, Roberts, McKercher, Clohesy, H.Garcia, Comben, Darcy, Wilson, Reid.

Probably not on Carroll, Cadman, Meek

Powell is an interesting decision this round. He’s fifth in line for mids when all of LDU, Wardlaw, Simpkin and Phillips play.

Phillips was subbed so if he gets dropped I think there’s merit in holding Powell as he should revert back to big minutes in the engine room.

If all four of the other mids are named though then it’s probably time to say goodbye to Tom.

Dempsey & Sharp need to go, would like to get rid Campbell who is maxed out/ dead wood.

Maybe:
Campbell > Sweet
Dempsey > Rogers (Reid moves into the fwds)
Sharp > Dawson

Means backing Steele in to turn it around ( saints have a great draw, just hope his knee is ok) & Powell - surely Phillips gets dropped after his poor performance…No fwds I really want to prefer hold if possible.

He's basically out for me this round unless there is some clarity given from the Roos re his role stating he's a 70% + CBA mid from here on. You can turn his $ into a number of premo players with far better role security and upside than him.

The other side of this is obviously the forward line options, but I would just prefer to roll with a rookie on field there in place of Powell for the time being given they probably won't score that far apart while Powell is at the end of the queue for a go in their midfield.

The Roos have been fairly open with Powell in terms of selection: he was selected HFF this week and that's basically where he played. If he's named there next week he's 100% out of my team.

Dempsey puts his hand up to be traded with one of Simpson/Jones/Hardeman/Rogers to join Sweet. No boosts left and went early on R Garcia rather than Sweet so may only be able to squeeze in two of the aforementioned in the next fortnight.

Comben and Thomas on the chopping block for the following round. Could double downgrade again in RD9 but feel bringing in Flanders/Petracca may be a better move in RD9.

Meek > English (this may have to wait a week)
Bonner > Green
Dempsey/Darcy/Powell > Sweet

Darcy could end up being a hold into Hawthorn + Richmond.
Meek (56 BE) has English, Marshall and Sweet in his next 3.
Although I'd like to get English (90 BE) done, it could be worth holding the extra 3 weeks with Sweet R3 as insurance and get others offield asap.

Dempsey > Sweet
Bonner > Green
Mass/Powell > Merrett

Any insights into why Parish has scored poorly before now?

Essendons run is really juicy but Crouch to Parish still feels quite sideways.

Well he's been injured, so there's that. TOG is too low for him to be an Uber right now. He's also fallen a bit in the pecking order at the Dons for CBAs apparently just looking at the numbers compared to previous years. Factor in the Dons have more choices there now.

For my own team I just would never consider because of the injury factor. It's still a game with finite trades even if he gives you a sugar hit if this draw proves as good as what it looks like on paper.
