Why would Port interchange 2 players with 1 minute to go? Surely with a cap on rotations they would just see out the quarter in case they needed them later.

Yeah interchange is weird you would think clubs would be right on saving them and keeping the best players on as much as possible. Laird and some others go off first goal of the quarter even if only on ground 3 minutes, surely nobody needs a rest after 3-4 minutes into a quarter.

Doesn't help when champion data blatantly rob him, that long 60m kick fwd where Rankine courageously when back with the flight and fogarty led out at the ball was given as ineffective.... Long kicks to a contest are supposed to be rated effective, whereas that kick was a long kick to the actual advantage of 2 of his team-mates and given ineffective. I'm hating how much SC relies on some boffin at CD's opinion. Same goes for what they consider contested or not and the worst by far is what they consider hitouts to advantage. Gawn can hit the ball to grass 5m away from a teammate and if they pick it up he gets given a hitout to advantage. And some players absolutely get preferential treatment.

The Crouch factor seems to be an issue with Dawson. His average dropped significantly with Crouch in the team last year and his biggest score this year came with no Crouch. Don't know how Crouch changes Dawson's role but there seems to be something in it.

Crows midfield has been all over the place this year. Soligo, Rankine, Rachele taking time in there, It is why I stayed away from Laird and Dawson until it settles down a bit. Can see both getting more time there as the year goes on .

So they intentionally distort figures for the least important use of the stats. Are they doing this for overall in which they are ineligible to win any prizes for?

In the last 6 games of last year with crouch in the team Dawson scored 110+ in 5 of them, the other was not a complete disaster 89.

Yep, they do it blatantly. Dawson has been poor tonight but has also been torched by Champion data.

What benefit do they receive by doing so and how do they make sure that the other spotters/ reviewers do not pick up on this during the match or breaks?
