Houston 93 :(
Rankine 93

First game under 100 for Houston this season. Didn't like seeing him, Farrell, Williams, and Burton all named in the same team and as expected it restricted his scoring. Solid score for Rankine. Didn't like the role again though today. Heard Montagna say in the post game he had just the 5 centre bounces. Don't like his chances of finishing top 6 anymore, hopefully can squeeze into that top 8-10 range. Needs an injury to one or more of Dawson, Laird, Crouch or Soligo. Can't see Soligo moving out of bulk midfield minutes anytime soon.

Walsh and Daicos tomorrow night.

Daicos 150 :D
Walsh 91

Daicos great game capped off with the winning goal. Walsh just couldn’t make a whole lot of impact with his disposals despite finding a lot of the ball, especially in the second half. Think he had roughly a 60/30 DT/SC ratio in that second half. Might’ve gotten sucked in by the perceived value he looked at the time. Hopefully he can turn it around in the future.

Williams loses 13 points in the last to scaling. Seems a little harsh. So basically we are saying everything he did up to that point didn't really matter.
It's one of the most interesting parts of the Supercoach scoring systems. I get it when players get scaled up due to strong starts in an easy win when points later in the game aren't worth as much but I'm still not sure how I feel about players losing points in close games, when they genuinely contributed to the game being close in the first place, and to that point hadn't received any additional scaling for their game.

9 disp 2 marks and a tackle for 29DT and 0SC, had a few turnovers and frees but a lot of 50/50 kicks out of defence to a contest called a turnover by CD killing the score. Could have easily been a 120sc game if a few kicks went +4 instead of -4

McKay doing the business tonight. No, you’re not allowed to trade him in if you have Heeney already.
He is still looking good as a solid pick, even after losing the 2nd ruck gig.
I have Heeney and promise I’ll only look and not touch until ________, tbc. 🤣

Played: I Rankine and Z Butters
Yet to play:
Friday: S Walsh (VC) and N Daicos
Saturday: I Heeney, M Roberts, B Grundy, T Green, J Steele, C Comben, H Sheezel, M Gawn (C), T Stewart, H Reid and N Martin
Sunday: N Fyfe, H Young, M Bontempelli, S Darcy, W Graham, S Clohesy and T Miller

Great start from the Butters and Rankine combo. Will likely keep Grundy due to the 74 from Sweet and reassess next round given I feel Wilson/Graham could match that. To push Graham to M8 I need to go a week early on Hardeman, otherwise Wilson will come onfield and Rogers will replace Hardeman and sit on the mid this round. Unsure how long I can keep testing it with going early on Clohesy, Graham and the Garcia’s recently. Recently switched the VC from Sheezel to Walsh and have considered forgetting about Gawn as C due to the Geelong matchup given they have previously restricted rucks to some success but unlikely to have the stomach to go through with it. Pretending that I haven’t heard any of the Steele concerns, so will hold. Will be interesting if hindsight says it was the right choice or not.

Rarely pay attention to projected scores but a projection of 2521 is looking very nice to me. Now watch them fail to clear 2250. :ROFLMAO:

Daicos great and Walsh ok but would have liked to have seen him get to 110 after starting the last quarter in the nineties. Alternatives last round were Dawson or Flanders, so will be interesting to see how they and Walsh fare over the next few rounds.

Currently have decided to hold Grundy rather than trading to Dunkley which in turn means not banking the 74 from Sweet. Graham/Wilson will be played at M8 this round and will leave the Grundy/Sweet decision until next round but unfortunately the scheduling of their matches will not be helpful.

Second trade this round is currently used for Dempsey to one of Rogers/Simpson/Hardeman (to move Graham onfield). Have considered Roberts to Moore due to possible weather conditions but will likely hold off and reassess the likes of Roberts/Thomas next round.
