Looks a good move having Petracca play forward in the second term, hoping He plays the rest of the match up forward….might give him a slight sneaky chance for mid forward status come round 12.. only slight chance…

Haha yep, so i watch him extra close and i've had a gutful of he's refferential treatment. Even late there he pushed hard and got to the mark and dropped it out of bounds. Even though he worked hard to get there it was an uncontested dropped mark and 100% was a clanger..... not given. As also a frustrated Dawson owner there has been about 5 times he has read the play really well floated in from the side and dropped an uncontested mark in the middle of a pack and still given a clanger every time. That uncontested mark Gawn just dropped over the boundary is a clanger every single day of the week and twice on Sunday's. Completely unacceptable that it wasn;t given. Stuff like that is why you absolutely cannot convince me that some players aren't treated favourably. Gawn is number 1 in the comp for it. Check out his disposal efficiency going at 100%. Yet his kick inside 50 was marked uncontested by Weitering. The AFL app even gave it as a turnover..... so how is it not only not a clanger but given as effective. He should have 3 clangers and be on about 10 points, its a joke.
Long kicks are considered effective regardless of any outcome. Not a clanger based on that definition. as Weitering marks it, becomes a turnover. Whether he gets maximum points some one else may be able to say.

The umpires don't love Maxi, should have been a free kick below the knees, not head high contact

Not sure if it’s the TV but the Blues players appear a lot leaner than the Dee’s and leaner when compared to last year. Not sure what that means, perhaps a focus on stamina by the Blues conditioning staff to help run out games as well as speed?

Hmm i've seen long kicks go straight to the opposition and be called clangers a million times.

Buckled under the pressure and got cold feet going early on J Hayes to join J Dunkley and instead decided to grab Oliver (rather than waiting another round) and L Jackson. Found enough of the ball but hasn’t used it well and only has the two contested possessions so far.

Clayton still seems a bit off but gaining confidence.

He use to be so clean, take his time before making a decision (albeit still butcher it at times) but now he seems to constantly panic and take the immediate option.

At this stage I'd be content either way you went with him.
