Jeez this is tough! You could make an argument for all 3 breaking 71 but statistically unlikely that they all do so I get taking Windsor. If I was a betting man I'd bench Clohesy, even though he's up against North his form has been trending downwards. Wilson on a hot run and Reid will win his share of ball against a depleted Pies mid
I guess I could play all of them to minimise the risk of a donut.

Not saying that it'll happen but eg Reid in the last game of the round just so happens to be a late out... I wouldn't be able to do anything at that point. (Have had this happen to me before in the past.)

Likely taking Windsor's 71...

Which one to bench?

Wilson vs Hawks
Clohesy vs North
Reid vs Pies
Honestly, I’d just leave him on the bench. I think all three are likely to beat 73, but it’s likely not all three will beat 73. If I had to choose one it would be Clohesy. And as you said, it gives you the benefit of being able to cover a late out.

The way you’ve written this suggests you want to bench Powell. The question is, if you’re benching him should you be trading him instead?
unfortunately for structure couldnt flick powell instead of chom or darcy who would have had to be fielded. powell would start over wilson if it were 3 rounds ago of course but hes hit some form and playing a poorer side

E on Rogers and Clarke last night both of which I will pass on.

So have to field:
one of - Harcia (Hawks/Hobart), Closesy, Rogers (Nth at TIO) in the mids.

three of - Wilson (Hawks/Hobart), Darcy (Rich MCG), Jones (Ess Marv), Comben (GC at TIO), Rarcia (Rich MCG)

Bold are decided. The rest unsure. Comben can probably stay on the bench.

Which 2 to field out of Darcy Jones, Riley Garcia and Sam Darcy? Leaning towards the Dogs' pair v Richmond but worried one of them might be the sub.

Actually, considering Comben now…

With Sweet confirmed out it means I'm down to 3 rookies for 2 on field spots.

The options are S Darcy, D Jones or the rookie I trade in this round.

At the moment I have Sullivan as the rookie to come in this week. I'm thinking that if he isn't sub then I should field him as there's a risk that Jones could be sub in the following match. If Sullivan is sub then I will bypass him and trade in Breville. Then if Jones isn't sub I will field both him and Darcy as there is a risk that Breville could be sub.

So basically the earliest playing rookie this round that isn't sub gets an on field spot with Darcy.

Does this make the most sense to others?

yep, same thinking for me with Sullivan/Breville, was going to take both but with so many outs in defence had to shuffle the trades so the rookie is Sullivan if not sub otherwise I'll hope Breville isn't and take him! Also thinking might take Joel Freijah WBD early as an option.

Butters into Gawn and lock in Jones at F6, or Daicos into Butters and give myself a second chance draw with Reville if Jones doesn't fire?

This is tough cause I don’t love the Daicos match up but Jones could very well get his turn at sub this week. So probably the option that doesn’t lock Jones on field.

Interesting. Maybe instead I can go Serong over Daicos so I have the time to have a look at Jones' score first. I can still use Sweet to take Serongs score if need be

Sullivan vs Crows @ MCG (if not sub) or Sam Darcy vs Giants @ Sydney Showgrounds?

Leaning towards Sullivan because Darcy may struggle to see much ball against the Giants? What do others think?

Still think Darcy the preferred starter as opposed to Sullivan…no loophole opportunity to see either score first?
