Thomas? Do you mean Jones? That is exactly what i am weighing up if so. I think in a perfect world (i.e playing the next 4 games in the 22 and not being sub) Sexton has a much higher ceiling potential than Jones.
Yeah sorry Jones. Role is better and should be even better without Powell for 5. Flanders playing back is something new but Sexton is now over two months into his new role. TIO stadium in the next two will be slippery for effectiveness.

Not sure if it has been pointed out already but all the top 8 sides play each other and all the teams outside of the 8 play each other this round.
Even more than that!
The top 4 teams play teams 5 - 8!
A real ladder shaper!

If my quick mental maths is correct, if the top 8 teams play each other, it is around a 22.9% chance that teams 1 to 4 will play teams 5 to 8.

In 1974 (I think, it may have been 1975) the 6 teams that won their games in Round 1 played each other in Round 2, as did the 6 losing teams.
That meant that barring a draw, the ladder would have 3 teams 2-0, 6 teams 1-1, and 3 teams 0-2.
From memory this has only happened once since then.

Pretty sure last night was not a great night for Petracca owners. Now likely to play forward more but not enough to get DPP. He won’t kick 5 goals every week. I so very nearly started him and have been eying him all along but well down the priority list now.
Surely last night was a “once off”. Yes Track had a good night, but I don’t think that means he becomes a full time forward.
