It’s just funny cause it’s only ever a blight on the game when it’s a player people don’t own. Otherwise junk points are celebrated like anything!
If Sydney had spread there points more evenly over the 4 quarters would you still be as outraged? Would him getting to 111 at 25-30 points a quarter have made the kick ins acceptable?
I think it's wrong for a player to score that well from kick-ins. If I own them, yes I enjoy the score, but I still think it's wrong. Do you own him?

Looks like Tom Green should be good to go... Wehr & Gruzewski both playing at the moment in the VFL leaving Peatling as the only Emg not playing.

If there was doubt on Green, you would think they would have held back another player in case another injury occured in warm-up.

I do, and I think kick ins are overscored relative to other acts, but I don’t think it’s a blight on the game - it’s just the game. It’s like picking a player for midfield minutes or because they’re the designated kicker coming out of defence. Roles and scoring constantly shift.. Aaron Hall was an extremely average footballer but SC stud in that HB role. No one cares when players seagull cheap kicks or rack up the numbers in other ways. I don’t see kick ins as any different to the players that constantly get handballs from a mark and kick long. Or players who are constantly the loose man who get intercept marks. Even Daicos who would line up as a defender and then roam around doing whatever he wanted.
But I don’t think it’s fair to lock in on one specific player/stat, either you accept this is the game and try to use it your advantage or you don’t play the game because you don’t like the system.

I accept the game, and love playing it, while at the same time believing it's not the best it can be, and will occasionally air that frustration as this is indeed a SC forum.

Played: M Gawn (VC), C Oliver (new recruit), S Walsh, T Stewart, Z Butters, L Jackson (new recruit), N Fyfe, H Young , B Grundy and I Heeney
Yet to play:
Saturday: J Steele, D Wilson, N Martin, T Green, M Bontempelli (C), S Darcy, H Sheezel, S Clohesy and T Miller
Sunday: N Daicos, H Reid and I Rankine

Butters and Heeney great but disappointing from the Dockers trio. May have to take my money and run with Fyfe and finally grab Flanders but this will likely be at the expense of selecting Hayes next round. No instant gratification with the scores from the late change of Oliver and Jackson and will be interesting both over this and coming rounds to see the gap between them and Dunkley and Hayes and in whose favour.
Hayes watch to get underway. Can still enjoy from a keeper league perspective this round and hopefully puts another good showing in as a potential Darcy/Fyfe/Dempsey downgrade target and could potentially facilitate one of those aforementioned becoming Dunkley/Serong/etc in RD11, if I double downgrade.

I hope he does play….saves me fielding either Draper or Clark with his massive mid 30- score….
