18/1890 (c) Bont - Daicos, Dunks, Crouch & Reid to come.

Solid bones of a team, but spotfires popping up everywhere. Stuck to my preseason trading strategy of Gulden & Tracc both after their respective byes & both haven't fired a shot. They'd be averaging around 90-95 or something over that span. Gross.

Jordon Clark is a real issue at D4 right now. His 63 scares me despite his overall average of 100 up until this point seeing as Chapman is now back in the side. Only 18 touches or something on Friday night. I might have to hold till his bye as I'm out of boosts and can't afford to pause my upgrading cadence.

Harry McKay, I'll just have to ride the ebbs & flows; I want a big score from him soon.

Roberts, Z.Reid, Lazarro, Graham & Nyoun are all leaking cash or dead. At least Reid had a decent game in the twos & could be on the horizon over the byes. Graham surely comes back in but how long do you wait & how many other options do you pass up on? Lazarro & Nyoun both can't get games in the worst team in my living memory. Sweet better get back in next weekend or that can be added to the list of silly decisions/unluckiness (take your pick) seeing as I gave up Grundy to get him and Grundy scored like a 140 or something that week.

Trade out Mac Andrew this week. He beats up on North & goes 120.

My midpriced realignment strategy in about Round 2 of getting in Clark & McKay as 'premos' was clever at the time as I was a 'premo' up on most during upgrade season, but looks like trash now. I'll have to fix Clark after his bye (to Ryan - fancy not having him) & Crouch also after his, although he should be useful through the bye rounds, unless he gets jettisoned to the twos again ... which is a very real possibility.

Sheezel I'll just have to ride out too. Not in a luxurious position enough to fix him.

Apologies for the essay.

I reckon Clark will bounce back, Jordon did the same job on him that he did on Whitfield the week before.

I've stuffed up my loops, should've taken Garcia's 65 over fielding Jones

It means the only way to take Bont's 135 VC is to bench Reid and also take Garcia, versus throwing the C on Daicos.

So Bont x 2 + Garcia = 335
vs Reid and Daicos x 2 = ???

Any ideas?
If Daicos goes 120, then Reid needs 90+ to draw it level
If Daicos goes 150 then you want him C obviously :ROFLMAO:
I think Bont and Daicos will be on field anyway, so you can cross out 1x for each of them.

I think that makes it 200 vs Reid + Daicos, in which case I would take the latter option.

Harry McKay been a decent pick so far where there aren’t many quality selections…potential to still finish top 6 forward…

Think if anyone was expecting him to punch out a big score against Melbourne’s defence they were being very optimistic. Whilst under 70 is disappointing, it’s not like he’s thrown out a 40-50 score.

Just waiting for the game where he clunks even 60% of the big marks he contests, and he will have another 120+ score. Love watching him attack the ball, has made even his lower scores easier to watch.
