TRADE DEADLINE FOR FREE AGENTS ON EXPIRING CONTRACTS
Free agent players (RFA and FA) whose contract expires at the end of the current season are eligible to be traded prior to the commencement of SCSUL Round 10 (usual deadline time). All other players are eligible to be traded prior to the commencement of SCSUL Round 16.

May I asked why player trading is paused, was never mentioned above. Makes planning hard, can they be dealt with after.

Don't want to make a big deal of it, however struggling to see why player trading is paused, yet trading of MSD picks is allowed?

The league statement clearly articulated a deadline on MSD picks, yet they have reopened / are allowed?

Yet no mention of player trading pauses was mentioned, and that has stopped. (Really only matters for juggling salaries for coaches, as people can trade in background if that isn't a consideration).

Just blown up my plans, potentially with two coaches.

There has never been trading of players during drafts. We mimic the AFL. The draft gets completed then trading opens again.

Live trading of picks is permitted to allow another element to the draft. The deadline is there so that I can ready the draft doc for the draft.

AFL don't open player trading the next day, but understood.

If anyone wants to pick up a player for me (e.g wants to get something for a pick they may not use, let me know).
