6/814* Daicos taken

Daicos(VC) :love:
Bontempelli :cool:
Freijah (y)
Garcia :confused: Hopefully he drops off

Rough game from that non HTB call to Garcia on Daicos. Would have gone up a decent amount and then ended up having 3 clangers in a row with 2 HTB against himself. Fortunate to have it close in the last so he could savage the 54 but stunting his last bit of cash.

Skipping Sullivan looks good early.

6/883 (Daicos)

Great game from Captain Daicos. Bont just ridiculous in that last quarter and an amazing score. Excellent game from Dale. Really solid from Darcy and could have been a ton if not for the indiscretions in the first quarter. Hoping that Sullivan’s 61 drops out with 20 playing.

Watched last qtr closely and thought Bont would score really big. After the game checked out the final quarter SCS comments from latest and realised Bont had done something special. Finally checked backed Final Scores, OMG 186 brings tears to the eyes. Clearly I had VC on him. Hail the Bont!

Walsh 111 :)
Houston 98 :confused:
Curnow 81 :(

Not ideal but will happily take it after all were in the 36-38 range at HT. Walsh gets enough of the ball but he doesn’t do himself any favours with his disposal. Has been a slightly frustrating own, hasn’t gone above 120 in the 6 weeks I’ve owned him, but also hasn’t had any mares. Has periods during games where he goes nuts so I can see a spike game on the horizon. Houston 4 below 100 in his last 5. Was basically nowhere to be seen excluding the third quarter. Curnow hasn’t been pushing up as far these last couple weeks. Probably should’ve figured that with Pittonet out. Struggling to get his hands on the ball. Lowest disposal count of the year tonight.

Daicos VC, Bont, Dale, Sullivan, and Freijah tomorrow night.

Bont 186 :eek::eek:
Daicos VC 156x2 :cool::alien:
Dale 132 :love:
Freijah 66 :confused:
Sullivan 61 :confused:

Don’t recall seeing as big a 4th quarter in a close game as Bont’s in a few years. Earned every single one of his 80 or so points. Daicos huge himself but outshone by Bont. Disappointing to lose 30 points on Bont who was my other VC candidate but you can’t blame someone who scored 156. Has thrived with De Goey, Mitchell and co out. Dale slowed down a bit but still finished on a big score. Collingwood had 7 behinds in the first and he was feasting on the kick ins. Freijah and Sullivan both solid but I was greedy and wanted 70-75 out of them.

Steele, Holmes, Moore, and McAuliffe tomorrow. Quiet day. 19 on field with Clohesy and McAuliffe the rookies to come and challenge Sullivan’s 61.

It would not surprise me if Sam Darcy is the best forward in the competition in two or three years time. He's a monster already. His SC duty is done for most of us this season, but I can see a scenario where he features again for us in coming seasons despite how poor key forwards are as options historically.

Originally I was just going to do the two trades of Garcia and Sweet to Sullivan and Freijah to bank cash and upgrade next week. Was thinking a sideways of Richards to Moyle but wasn’t 100% certain so went Jones over Richards so it didn’t lock in the trade, didn’t have time to look for any info.

I’m not over the moon about paying up for Sullivan, role is kinda terrible however think JS probably outweighs it. Freijah was pretty good early but faded a bit, hopefully just hold until his bye.

Can’t see a reason to trade him to Cameron, Curnow etc. at the minute. He might not get a 150 but the other KPF’s aren’t that great.

Darcy has shown his floor though chucking up a 40 every second week. At least Curnow and Cameron have shown some consistency, have very nice fixtures after their byes as well.

Darcy does play North twice but surely you’re not holding him for the season. Trade for mine if you haven’t already with almost a certain suspension and bye coming up.
