I'm having a decent season, despite all the injuries. But my biggest weakness this season has been with my CTW. I've just copped so many poor scores from the likes of Tago, Marzew, May, RTS, Hutchinson. While Lomax, Kiraz, Holmes, Mulitalo & Young have all gone massive. Something I'll look to work on for next season.

Even with Galvin Preston and Armstrong out... I don't mind the look of them Boys... anything obvious I am missing:unsure::unsure::unsure:

Obvious missing link is David Fifita which could be funded by trading Galvin or Martin (via Plath). Maybe a fullback when one of Talagi/Armstrong/Salmon are traded, otherwise the spine of the side seems fine.

Hmmmm I like your thoughts. I will play around with trades and see if anything makes me bring in DFifita.... Thanks Mate(y)(y)

Thanks!

What do you consider sufficient numbers for 16 and 19 - currently have 12 for 16 and 10/11 for 19 if they keep to the same teams for soo1 and no injuries happen?

Hopefully have some more weeks to trade for coverage. I've got 2 ideas at the moment- downgrading armstrong and upgrading hughes to a pod play of aitken/ carty or straight swapping curran to AFB.

Any thoughts?
IMO 19 is the hardest bye, but I'm going to try and get 13 for both - currently have 14 for round 16 and 12 for round 19. But you have a few more trades then I do, so you can go a little harder at it. If you can get 15 for round 19 that may be a big moving week for you (if you're chasing overall).

Don't mind the Aitken/Carty/AFB plays... back your gut. Aitken only has a bye in round 18 so from a coverage point of view, he's the best. Carty gives round 19 coverage, AFB round 16. AFBs probably the one you want for the run home at FRF though.

I'm at the stage where I probably should be only looking to bring in keepers, but I'm considering Armstrong - Hoppa to generate some cash this week (sounds like Armstrong is going to Super League next year and Sharpe will hold the spot short term). Depends if I want to spend an extra trade or two and will help with bringing Nicho back in round 17.

I'd like hoppa. Only issue is Tommy's return. If I knew he played both major byes, it'd be sweet

What a horrible round…883 total. Just didn’t have any of the high end scorers. Not been a good couple of rounds.

Chan > Pahulu
Drinkwater > Tedesco

- Hynes / Edwards both back. The Pahulu move is simply to increase round 16/19 numbers and to fund the Drinkwater > Tedesco move a week early before Drinkwater leaks cash and Tedesco goes up this week.

Pahulu seems to be sneakily locked into about 50 minutes a night. His scores haven’t really reflected the increased minutes though. Sneaky underpriced option and is a much better playable 17 option this week vs Tigers then Willison and his 25 minutes (if he plays)

Basically, if you’re on the field you’re a playable option against the Tigers.

Fermor, Ford, Smithies and Martin :ROFLMAO:
They are in a very light pinky colour.
If your not sure or want to start again click on reset at top of the bench (y)

Honestly I can't see that light pink :ROFLMAO: but thanks for the heads up... I just noticed I can go to gameday and it shows me the reserves in a manner that I can see them (y)(y)

Courtesy of 'Love Rugby League'...........

"Leigh Leopards have secured the signing of David Armstrong for the 2025 season after he sensationally decided against a new deal to remain in the NRL with Newcastle Knights, Love Rugby League has learned."

.........and didn't play last week and listed as 'with a quad injury' this week?????

He might be your 'sell' Jobs

Cheerio!

Were there any other cheapies in mind? Perhaps looking to bring someone in but lehi does look to be the cheapie of the week so far.
Pretty dry week for cheapies JD23, only one that has some appeal is Sharpe if Ponga is still due back in round 22 going off the official NRL website. But he's also only played the one game, can wait a week to see if Armstrong comes back in or something pops up.

Guys.. which option is best

1. Marzhew/armstrong + hughes > afb + lehi

2. Drinky + marzhew/armstrong > cnk + afb

3. Curran/ marzhew > afb

4. Drinky + talagi > teddy + afb

Some talk that Tommy will return at centre (in round 18) to build his fitness up, but can't imagine they'd drop Koula or Garrick, so would guess Koula moves to fullback and Hoppa disappears. Sharpe looks ok and now it looks like he probably holds his spot until Ponga returns, but FLB only.

Out of the three mentioned I'd probably lean towards Feagai. Seems to have won the spot over Ravalawa, who is also looking at a decent ban via the judiciary.

If you're looking for a nuff option, Karapani is basement price and should cover round 19.

Can you wait a week? Teddy/Latrell almost must have options if they miss Origin. AFB with Melbourne and a high BE may be a little cheaper next week.

I'd probably lean towards keeping Marzhew for round 19 coverage. He's lost so much value, just have to hope he gets a try or two.

Think Armstrong is now a sell, but I'll probably lean towards selling next week.
