Z Jones continues to get recalled then dropped the following week. How many goes does the guy get. Surely Hugo Garcia could have got another look before him again....

Agree, apparently Garcia was one Sandrigham's best players last week - kicked 3 goals/ lots of tackles as usual. Many expected him back in as the sub at worse.

Not sc relevant but without looking up stats, Prestia must be one of the most injury prone (soft tissue) players.

Daicos still needs to get through training tomorrow to take his place in the side as per the Collingwood Football Club website.

At this stage of the year not sure how intense that would be.

But that means admitting their season is all but over and they still have delusions of grandeur that Ross is the answer. Default to the more experienced player because member all those years ago when he had a few good matches.

Contemplating NWM (missing 2 games with the saints bye next week) > Whitfield so I get 18 playing & help fund next week's trades.

The 1 certain top 6 mid I am missing is Merrett - 577K/BE 117. Has WCE & Geelong next 2, 2 midfields giving up big points every week to elite mids.

Have Bont,Butters & Serong who seem a level above the rest, I would have Merrett just below them - should easily finish in the top 6 mids this year I think.

Yes but I do worry about the hard Windhager tag coming his way I suspect this round.

Looking at GWS's next two games I feel Whitfield cops McEntee and Jordon back to back. McEntee did a pretty good job on Stewart a couple of weeks ago and Whit had no marks against Sydney last time.

I'm an owner of Whitfield and have been dreading the next two weeks, I think you can do worse for under 500k but probably not the fixture you'd want to trade into. Did 107 post bye last year so something you could look at post these games although doesn't really help your situation with NWM. Hope this helps if at all.

I think I will, too, wait and see with Clarry. Trac out, their midfield isn't deep at all. Maybe coinciding with a wait and see on Neale.

I've already got a 'complete' midfield of Bont, Butters, Serong, Walsh, LDU, Green, Miller, Oliver

I have 17 before trades, thinking I'll cop a donut and not trade at all, ranked 67k so won't be making any comebacks. I do have 14 trades with a boost, so I'll use them as the season goes on. I could trade in Schoenmaker, but he has the bye next week and could be dropped after this week, even though he's replacing Dougal Howard who's out for 4.

I’m thinking of offloading NWM too. Would essentially be trading him instead of Stewart. Means one extra player next round too.

Luke Ryan is the one to come in either way.

Also adding Merrett as my last mid next round too.

Rd 14 was always my worst bye round with 18 playing most likely scenario. After a bad start been slowly improving and was always thinking of Rd 14 when making pre bye trades. Now here we are and NWM out, Bont and Naicos a chance of being late outs and rookies are very lean. It's a frustrating game sometimes.
