Can anyone one persuade or dissuade me on going Galvin for Cody Walker? Wont be able to afford it next week so would have to do it this week. He would be me only Rabbit and covers 16 and 19 like Galvin so im pretty interested but havent watched many games to see how he has been going.

Appreciate any thoughts as i will have to make decision tonight beacuse if i dont do trade i will have to play Plath in 5/8 tonight. Thanks
A bit late, but that was the first trade I made. Souths hitting form, Cody next to no Origin chance, Galvin high BE and massive internal problems (including Galvin) at the Tigers. It felt a no brainer to me.

Just got better. I tried to get rod of him this week but could quite jag the cash to get Talau. So he is a non-playing reserve - I have losta lot of faith in him.. Happy to see him save some of his ever falling value.
The Sharks have a very good run coming up. If I had him I'd be licking my lips looking at their match ups for the next 10 or so rounds.

I’m actually the opposite, brought him in this week looking forward to his upcoming run, hopefully can jag a few good scores and make some cash.

Thanks for the detailed response mate. Think im leaning towards Galvin to Walker but very torn as im getting low on trades, Wish we knew more about how long Galvin will be out for
Galvin asked the Tigers for a release earlier this week. I'm guessing another club tabled him an offer he couldn't refuse.(probably Roosters with Keary set to retire at the end of the season)
The Tigers CEO met with him recently to try and change his mind with an upgraded contract. We probably won't know the outcome of the negotiations until next week sometime at the earliest,as Galvin is well aware that the tigers see him as a key figure in the culture rebuild and being a Tigers junior earmarked for greatness it was expected he'd repay the Tigers boards faith in him with loyalty to the brand, while being paid the bare minimum. Now he knows what he's worth he may decide to drag it out after Jayden Sullivan was granted an immediate release to play for Salford Red Devils in the ESL along with Brent Naden to some other English Club and the Tigers obligated to pay a good chunk of the pairs salary into 2025. Leaving Galvin in a very strong position at the negotiating table.
. Even so he's been playing with an injured hand the last couple of games. I'm unsure of the nature of the injury, but can't be too bad as he played both games. Probably misses 16 and 17 to recover from injury and consider his future on an all expenses paid trip to Bali.
So to summarize. I am possibly, probably just speculating, but I can't see him taking the field until round 18/19 especially since Adam Douei was named in the reserves this week and would likely fill in at 5/8 in Galvins absence. I am selling next week if a contract agreement hasn't been reached.
and they all lived happily ever after
The End.

Really don't like it when players fail to honour their contract and make a fuss, trying to force a move and cause a media circus. I understand if the player isn't getting game time or has a falling out with the coach etc but the obligation should still be there for the player to fulfil the remainder of their time with the club and then move on after. Not having a go at Galvin or anything since we know how his manager operates and it could just be a ploy to get a bigger contract/role assurance with the club. Would really love for him to stay, work hard on improving his game and be a integral part of the Tigers rebuild.

Wow, That's a mighty impressive list of achievments Connoisseur. You must be single or have a very understanding wife.
either way congratulations.
I see you also have won the weekly prize in RDT NRL. Do you remember how much you won?
Now I think about it,I'm pretty sure it was 2016-17 for me.
Highest overall finish was 12th in around 2012.
was a member of the No.1 League in 2018 maybe 2019.
Best SC finish is 305th in the year Wilfred won it. 2018 I think. Got a keychain.
Best NRL Fantasy finish is 434 in the same year.
Went all in that year, gave it a red hot crack. But never again. The time you need to put in to try and stay one step ahead of the pack is just ridiculous, then you need luck on your side 9 out of 10 weeks for the entire season. Now I just play RDT. I'm still competetive but don't get upset if I miss a late out or pick the wrong captain
