At this stage of the season, I tend to default to who do I think is a season keeper.
Teddy, despite the Origin risks is probably the only one I'd say yes to. CNK a good POD and has been performing well but I'd have him below Teddy. Armstrong and Talagi I'd view as cows to be moved on once their price maxes out and Marzhew is almost a don't play until Ponga comes back.

I totally agree. You must be from the same old school I went to. unfortunately our football clubs are corporate entities driven by profit margins above all else. The players know this full well and are forced to get as much meat off the bone as they possibly can before they're thrown to the scrapheap. Occasionally this blows up in the clubs faces like when they shafted Adam Reynolds . He asked for a 2 year deal at a reduced salary to end his career a one club man . Rabbitohs Board wouldn't budge on a 1yr contract. Knowing the offer wouldn't be accepted and they'd come out smelling like roses. But karma can be a beach and the mess the clubs in right now is a direct result of the total disrespect shown to their all time highest point scorer,captain and club legend who then rubbed salt into their wounds by leading the Broncos to a GF in his second year at the club. So now in most cases I'm all for the players doing whatever they can to milk the system for all its worth.

I have
1. Cnk + afb + fainu for hughes + drinky + talagi
2. Teddy + afb + carty for drinky+ talagi + kpp
3. Curran > afb, kpp > carty
4. Curran> afb, kpp > kelma, talagi > too
5. And a left field one - drinky > too, marzhew to afb, and talagi/kpp > carty

Gross week, just caught the young/fifita news Reversed trades from KPP to Fainu and have gone Chan > Fainu and Galvin > Campbell.
Gives me 17 + a safety net of 43 from Willison if Edwards does not get up. Carrying Fifita, KPP, Curran, Hughes, Salmon and Young this week on the bench 😂
Still a fairly solid 17

Eels have lost J'maine Hopgood for their clash with the Roosters 
Options - loop Latrell on 75 (I don't think so, that sin bin was a killer), Captain Manu vs Parramatta captain Hughes vs NZ. I am thinking Manu. Thoughts?

Played: E Aitken (new recruit), M Plath, K Iro, R Mulitalo, S Drinkwater and L Mitchell
Yet to play: A Koroisau, J Pahulu, J Hughes (new recruit), J Ford, D Brown, B Talagi, T May, R Garrick, J DeBelin, B Trbojevic and G Marzhew
Fell shy of the likes of Katoa and Watson so opted for the consistency of Aitken albeit aware of the ceiling issues compared to those aforementioned but the fixture won out. Solid start and same can be said for captain Mitchell as after Fifita was out there wasn’t really any other options I was confident in. Between Pahulu and Brailey for the final reserve spot.
Scared of no Manu or Tedesco given the matchup against the eels but may look to rectify that next round if I trade one of Talagi/Iro/etc.
