Are you sure you should be trading at all?
looks like only 13 playing for round 15 prior to trades…
Still 9 rounds to go after this upcoming round…. Can see plenty of carnage on the way home where teams will lose plenty of points wearing donuts potentially …
Tough one, with Butters' suspension is quite clear that I'll be losing this week. Thought process would be whether to hold Freijah and Sullivan for more appreciation to Premo/Rookie. However that would be limited, would need to really go Freijah, Sullivan and Richards into two downgrades and someone at Rowell's price max. If I do the above trades, would be banking on McKercher to get right back into form post return. Serious demons rest of season.

Richards should be back for the Pies post bye so should be able to manipulate the team across all lines to have cover from round 16. Just that one weak spot at M8 and potentially F6.

Laird vs Steele. I need to decide (although may yet get rid of both) which one stays and which one goes. Laird role has completely change in the last 2 weeks, but at least he is playing back instead of forward. Don't think he will score all that well. 140 on the weekend seems an outlier for the role. Steele is just crap. Actually that's not true. He seems to lack a motivation and will to go after the ball for some reason. Don't know if it is confidence, or Ross has simply told every mid that they need to play defensively first. Any thoughts?

Have made 1 trade this week which is D'Ambrosio to Yeo and that leaves my team looking like the below. 8 trades and 77k cash left.
Really don't want to trade out D'Ambrosio especially with no defence cover on the bench but I really want Yeo as a small POD for the run home even though it's risky with his history.

Tempted to go Steele to Zorko but that seems too much of a luxurious trade at this point.
Sullivan and Freijah are on the trading block as well but I don't know who to downgrade to. Not keen on going on anyone who has the bye this round.

Any other options which I may not have considered that could improve my team?

Is this a move you'd do this week? Struggling to field 18 but gets me two guns in and a few duds out.

Appreciate any feedback or advice. :)
Could you move on Harley Reid this week instead of Steele?
will provide you with a stronger team next week…Steele has 8 of his last 9 at marvel so will finish closer to premium scoring than Harley….

I could but those moves only leave me with 5 grand so I'd have to forgo Houston or Merrett for a lesser player, just not sure about Steele's fitness or role anymore. Much to ponder, thanks for the response Macca.

💯 % pull the trigger

You are getting 2 premiums who will be top 6 in their respective positions this year in 1 week 👍
Thanks for the advice Shannon, was thinking the same thing but Butters possibly out means I'll only have 16 for the week, might have to reconsider.

anyone confident Davies Uniacke and Wardlaw can continue their hot form rest of season? they do have Richmond and Eagles in run home and neither of those teams tag so big scores could come there too. Those fixtures are week 1 and 2 of supercoach finals too.. but obviously if you have simpkin too means probably 4 north players if you have Sheezel

Steele > Merrett
Moore > LDU/Neale

18 playing in round 15 plus McKercher if he gets up. All of the 18 are premos. Have the third trade in hand if I need to get up to 18 and save a donut. 4 trades for the run home.

Would leave me with:
Ryan, Daicos, Sheezel, Houston, Holmes, Dale (McKercher, W.Dawson)

Bont, Serong, Butters, Heeney, Merrett, LDU/Neale, Dunkley, Green (Dowing, Sullivan, Saad El-Hawli)

Gawn, Grundy (Livingstone)

Flanders, Zorko, Fisher, Rankine, Jackson, Curnow (Freijah, Payne)
Still looking at:
Steele > Merrett
Moore > LDU

Assuming Butters' suspension stays, then I need McKercher to play to get 18. If McKercher does play, I won't have to do anything else. If he doesn't, then I'll only have 17. Have to weigh up whether I just cop a donut or use a trade (go down to 3 left) to get the extra score.

The premo options I have to trade are Bont, Daicos, Butters, Dale, and Rankine. Bont, Daicos, and Butters aren't going anywhere. Dale has had a great floor of late and has the ceiling. Shaping up as a nice POD on the run home. That only leaves Rankine. Would be annoying as I held through his injury, but I think this is the best option. Realistically, he probably isn't averaging any more than 105 on the run home and he's priced at 571k. Have 20k in the bank so can't quite get up to Neale. Probably goes to either Gulden or Ridley.

Or, I could trade Sullivan to anyone under $296,500. Wouldn't net me as many points as a premo sideways. Options are pretty bare. Obviously can't go Schoenmaker as he has the bye. Wouldn't mind taking a punt on Lynch but he has the bye as well. Bedford is interesting, scored 88 as a tagger. Worner if he makes the cut is probably where I'd go and keep 160k for injury trades. Although he plays in the last game of the round so it could get ugly if he is sub.

Just wait until a McKercher update and react I guess.

north have an easy last 4 games but before that there could potentially be a few tags coming for ldu. youre also paying near top dollar for ldu now after his 2 upgrades. definitely looks really good now tho but options like merrett or walsh might be better

not sure wardlaw has showed enough consistency to be a good look

Steele, Sullivan, Freijah OUT
Merrett, Curnow, Rookie IN - H.Johnston is a place holder, needs to be a mid rookie

Completing my team with 7 trades left, would rather hold Steele but hoping to close the gap in my h2h's with Merrett.
Curnow over Rankine the glaring hole in my side but happy to see what happens at this stage.
