Interesting 3rd round, Ludvig had a bit of a disaster triple bogey possibly blowing his chances, Bryson is looking very strong but might have a physical issue with his hip going into round 4.
So glad I had Morikawa's 35 points on the bench in round 3!
Very difficult course, think I'd shoot 280 if I played there.

Great final round, watched the whole thing at three different time periods during the night/early morning LOL
Rory missed a couple of easy short putts which made him finish one short of pushing Dechambeau to a playoff, apparently he was very dirty afterwards and left the course immediately after he put the clubs in the car and spun the wheels on the way out.
Must feel a bit hard done by but I'm sure his 300 million dollars will ease the pain a bit! :giggle:

This was on the 16th I believe:

He choked away a win. As you noted he missed a 4 footer on the last too, and you would generally guarantee he makes at least one of the two, if not both every time. He should have made a playoff minimum.

It would extremely high pressure, I understand. I'd probably manage to miss a one foot putt in the same situation, so not being too critical. :ROFLMAO:

I'm not buying the choked away a win bit.
His irons were horrendous in Rd4
His driving was elite
His chipping was superb and his putting, up until 16 was elite.
If his irons were better he wins by plenty
Then again, if Bryson drives better in the final round no-one gets close.

Golf is hard
Golf at a US Open is really hard

Damn, left 24 points on the bench having Cantlay instead of Kim on. Always the way!

As good as Collin Morikawa is at Golf, I just find him excruciating to watch actually playing without having my finger perpetually on the fast fwd button, him and his caddy are such a pair of over-talkers, having to have at least a 5 minute conversation before every single shot! Can't stand it, won't watch it.
I'll take Ludvig Aberg's pace of play any time!

Don't have Kayo, so can't watch him, or any of the others play. I'll happily take 33 points from him again in each of Rd 3 and 4 though. :D

Expect I'll finish mid pack as usual this tournament, despite currently leading, but as Morikawa is my best chance of a winner, I'll be cheering him on for the next couple of rounds.

You have a strong team this tournament, the only one with the current leader. Nice pick.

Cheers, spewing I had him on bench for round one, Morikawa is playing well enough to win it, although Scheffler is playing and he's looking ominously good again, Morikawa just missed out on low round of the day bonus by 1 but got 2nd low of the day so still got the 5 points.

Left 26 points on the bench didn't I?
And now I'll replace those 2 muppets who underscored with the 2 who scored well and they'll underscore by 26 points compared to the two I just re-located to the bench, this game is like being in Hell, where every choice you make is a punishment

I'll probably have to swap some players after this next round. Hoping the app behaves this time and doesn't trade out the wrong player on me, as it did last tournament. I noticed when I moved one player from the bench that every player swapped spots in my team, but thought I had done it right as usual. My fault for not rechecking later.

It has been acting weird lately that app, like only just being able to see what our season aggregate was after like 6 weeks or something, it was defaulting to the whole overall comp instead of our league.

But what I actually came here to say is that I've been watching the No Laying Up "Tourist Sauce - Return to Australia" in YouTube. Enjoyable watch if you haven't seen it

1, 3, 15 and Tom Kim.

Kim out for 10th placed Knapp for Rd 3
Bold call picking Knapp Frosty, he had a great second round, at least you only left 10 points or so on the bench, I left a ton on there in the first round.
Can't believe how close our comp is, it's great!...and will go right down to the wire I reckon.
P.S didn't expect Kim to miss the cut, maybe he's a bit tired.

Shocking week last week for me, but looking forward to a big week at the Open. Can Adam Scott wind back the clock?
Good start, -2 through 8.

Lucky I entered my picks last night, as I didn't expect it to start for another hour or so. Used to US start times rather than UK.
