Raiders trading WR Davante Adams to Jets for conditional
third-round pick


New York's shock firing of Robert Saleh did not prevent its successful pursuit of Davante Adams.
Seven days after the Jets fired their head coach, they have agreed to a trade for Adams from the Raiders, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday, per sources.
Las Vegas will receive a conditional third-round pick in exchange for Adams, Rapoport and NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported, per sources. The third-rounder can become a second-round pick based on Adams' performance in New York, per Rapoport and Pelissero.
Pelissero adds that the Jets have agreed to take on the rest of Adams' salary in order get the deal done, per a source.
By trading for the three-time All-Pro, New York reunites Adams with quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who Adams spent eight years catching passes from as a Green Bay Packers

The pair started its partnership in 2014 and produced 7,517 yards and 68 touchdowns on 615 completions, but Adams and Rodgers elevated their game to another level during the former's final four seasons in Green Bay. From 2018-2021, Rodgers and Adams ranked first in the NFL in receptions (425), receiving yards (5,257) and receiving touchdowns (47) as a duo.

Really like this trade for the Bill's. Amari is a good WR imo and will do well with Allen. Would make a good 7th or 8th WR in our teams.
Adams reuniting with Rogers is another plus. As a GB fan of both in the past it will be exciting to see how this pans out. If Davante (and Aaron ) can stay fit there could be magic in the air!

Anyone else notice Calvin Ridley's score on the week-end?
He almost had the rare DNP while playing a full game.
He had 0 receipts on 8 targets!
Only the fact that he had one carry for 9 yds gave him a score: 1.

Just a heads up to all the SCS Coaches.... I noticed AJ Brown is at a nice price and had a great comeback from injury ( out for 4 weeks )
At 15.3m he should be a prime target as his BE should be around 10 or there abouts... love the next few match ups too BoL Coaches

My formula is easy enough... players value say... 15m it's times 6 for BE around 90 for AJ so he scored 81... that means he needs 9 to reach around 90... close enough is good enough and no doubt good advice for our SCS Coaches... it's info given... what they do with it is their choice

Down for several moments, it was initially feared he might have broken his collarbone. Thankfully, Mason was able to later return for a few snaps in the second half before deciding that discretion was the better part of valor, ceding touches to rookie Isaac Guerendo.
Mason was later diagnosed with a mild AC sprain and is currently considered day-to-day by San Francisco’s coaching staff. The fact he had a few additional days of rest bodes well for his return in Week 7, but managers should closely monitor practice reports to see how he is faring.

Ohhh I was unaware of that.... ok with that trade I guess thanks for the update... which nobody posted prior to my knowledge

I'm very interested in seeing how my team scores this week.
I should have a good one if the FantasyPros rankings are correct;
QB: 1, 2
RB: 1, 2, 3, 6
WR: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - if Nabers plays, if he doesn't it's Kupp 12 or Thomas 21.
TE: 3, 4
K: 12 - Bates
DST: 5

I doubt mine is the only team with these projections so "c"/"vc" choices could be crucial..
With no loop-hole possible I'm going with Jefferson as "vc": off a bye, at home against Detroit who are #24 against WRs.
If need be my "c" is a toss-up between Jackson and Daniels. I'll probably go with Jackson. If only because he's less likely to fail. (Now if that isn't a jinx!)
