First lap done

265 / Davis C

Edey the only real misfire on field
swapped Trae for Morant when i realised i had 3 hawks on field with JJ & Risacher (too much exposure to one team)
then last minute moves to get Risacher to bench required some cash
so swapped Lamelo for Cunningham but didnt think to switch Morant back to Trae who i initially preferred
see how it pans out end of week 3 as both have 3/4/4
sucks seeing Lamelo fire but he was only ever a 1 week play with Harden

It's not the end of the world for sure. I prefer him with the first unit feeding the post and letting others take bad shots where he can get that 8+ assist thing going and then supplement with better shots. The pure gunner approach off the pine can work but it's a bit more volatile as a scoring platform given his historically bad efficiency. Still beats being injured before half time of the first game :LOL:

I only had Miller in initial plans but opted for a Pritchard / Ivey combo ...

- missed players were Thomas and Tatum from initial plans but it was a dislike for one player and a cash squeeze that forced them out ...
- almost had Yabusele but took D*ck and stuck with Sarr ...
- took Pritchard over Henderson ... was trying to bank a little bit of extra cash for next rounds trades ...

I think that is about it for X v Y choices ...

Switched J Johnson and J Morant back to D Murray and T Young with a few minutes to spare this morning before their matches. Disappointing that Murray is injured but was only a short term option to RD3 who could be expendable in the meantime. Cautious about fielding Edey which was why most iterations involved Sengun but was struggling to have any confidence on fielding Rissacher/Dunn. Tatum/Barnes spent considerable time in the Giannis/Chet spots as well. Simmons another expendable option in RD2 or RD3 who was vying with Quickley in that price range. Great to see Black and Dićk off to good starts as they were mainstays in most of my iterations due to their draft stock last season and opportunity for more minutes this season.

Neither is exactly setting the world on fire though unfortunately. Both could be viable trade-in targets this week though if they can produce a bit, role is the first step to making cash!

Celtics another blowout win, Pritchard cashing in this time, doubt we see much more of the starters from here.

Poole continuing his late season bounceback from last year, definitely on my watchlist for trade targets in next week or two (shame about their schedule).

Champagne the standout in the other game so far, expensive rookie price but stuffing the stat sheet with a good role. Paul, Wemby, Castle, Doncic and Irving all not really making great cases on their end!

Might need to temper expectations after being spoilt by the rookies last season

Some underwhelming scores to say the least but fortunate I won’t have to worry about scores until Monday post lock out (probably the only thing I enjoy about the RDT format) - set & forget and the rest is completely out of my control

Definitely on the rookies, it's a historically bad class and even the rookie prospects that have potential are very much potential and not reality right now. The couple that probably could put up some numbers are also buried in bad situations (Clingan behind Ayton, Sheppard behind Green/FVV/Thompson, Dillingham at Minny etc).

The lockout is both the best and the worst. It's so frustrating when you have an injury and there's no way to cover for it but it's also great knowing you don't have to constantly tinker.

I do wish they'd tweek the emergency system so that you could replace missed games, so if a starter plays 1 of 3 then emergency score counts the latter 2 of 3 if they also played 3. Especially with how many games NBA players sit out these days.

Yep .. I just muck around with my spreadsheet stats wise each day ...
- at the moment it is stacked with players that wouldn't normally be in it ....

But it fluctuates a lot early on ... I use a 20 pt ave unless owned by one leagues participants which I cant see yet ...
- lots of early good scores creep in and then back out ...
- lots of early poor scores drop out and then creep back in ...
