Could be interesting with the tigers rookies.. fair few have injury or concussion history already. Might not be the bonanza we were hoping for..
Higher risk, not all will pan out, but if the injury concerns don't eventuate its arguably a higher pay off. And the tiges can afford one dud, saves some space on the overflowing 2032 salary cap!

Whitlock would want to be damn good, as North's first rounder from next year is likely to be another top 5ish pick you would expect.
Yeah it's a gamble that's for sure. They are due to begin to rise up though, if they come mid pack, say 10th, and the tiges bottom out again (which I do expect), you'd say that 9 for 19 and 27 is fair value. If North scrape finals this trade is absolutely a win for them.

True, but the first pick of Rd 2 usually gets pushed out, it's pick 28 this year. It's pretty much two picks in the late 20's for a first round pick.

Bo Allan going to WCE makes him SC relevant - played seniors for Peel’s premiership team this year. Very well built/ tough & looked solid throughout their finals campaign. Expect he starts his career playing half back, might get def/ mid status. Very similar to
Ruben Ginbey, almost twins 😂

Tobie Travaglia is another I like - just worried that NWM & Sinclair might impact him being at the saints.

Strange move for North.

One potential positive is that Richmond must be favourites for the spoon, which would give North the valuable first pick on the second night next year. Maybe they claw back some value from getting overs for that pick at this time next year, if the Tigers do have a really tough season.

ST KILDA has confirmed the premature retirement of midfielder Brad Crouch due to chronic knee issues.

Crouch played in round one this year against Geelong but missed the rest of the season and underwent arthroscopic surgery to address ongoing degenerative knee issues.

The injury eventually became too much for the 30-year-old, who has called time on his 161-game career.
