If you are looking at starting a nuff, most of the time you're not going to trade them out, so you want someone with good loopability across the season, particularly in rounds 5, 7 and 9 (no doubles, no byes). Rounds 3, 6 and 8 are less important as there is a team on the bye.
If you're looking at starting a nuff, Salzmann is the best if all you're looking at is the price (dual, base price), but his draw isn't exactly ideal.
Thunder play: Round 1 - 3rd, Round 2 - 3rd, Round 3 - 4th, Round 4 - 1st, Round 5 - 2nd, Round 6 - 1st, Round 7 - 1st, Round 8 - 1st, Round 9 - 1st.
No loopability in rounds 4, 7, 9 and minimal loopability in round 5.
Other options:
Strikers (Buckingham (BWL), base price). No loopability in round 2.
Heat (Vidler, base price, BWL only). No loopability in round 5.
Hurricanes (Doran, base price BAT/WKP (not BAT/BWL). No loopability in round 7.
Stars (Warren, base price, BWL only) no loopability in rounds 1 -3 but loopability in every round after, especially rounds 5, 7 and 9 (3rd, 4th, 4th).
Renegades (Dixon (BAT), Crone (BWL) base price) no loopability in round 4, minimal loopability in round 9.
Sixers (Perry, base price, BWL only). No loopability in rounds 3, 5, 9, minimal loopability in round 7.
