There's a chance Doggett gets called into the test squad again due to Hazelwood's injury, he's in the strikers squad for the first game although quite a bit of doubt around the second.

I have gone: JFK, Webster and T. Rogers to Short, Connolly and J. Davies.
Pretty new to BBL, is J. Davies likely to keep his spot for next 3 games? Other option is Jack Wood.

Early mail is that Davies will be out as Kerr is fit as hosein takes his spin role

Doug Warren also in for McKenzie for the stars

I'm in the same boat. Renshaw/Patterson/J.Davies could be decent alternatives given they have the RD3 double? I'm probably going to go Renshaw myself (don't need to play him this week).

Im going Renshaw, will have 8 doubles and think getting a Heat player in the bank is optimal.

I've found the cash to get Boyce instead of Turner. Leaves me with Short (VC), Overton, Thornton, Boyce & Bazley (loop) & 3 scorchers (Dorff, Jhye, Connolly)

Rotation worries me with Boyce, is a 35 year old not playing much Cricket going to get through 6 games in 16 days?

Think this suits my team and situation

1. Abbott (reluctantly 😢 , even if he is playing Saturday night) - > Connolly (DGR)

2. Webster - > Weatherald (DGR)

3. Sutherland (would like to have held to DGR 4 but not feasible) - > Overton (DGR)

Gives me (fingers crossed) on the Double this round :-

AS = Boyce , Overton (VC) , Thornton , Weatherald

PS = Connolly , Richardson , Turner , Tye

Not sure Bank + my 3 premium Scorchers will get me all of Bartlett , Hosein , Maxwell for Round 3 but that can be a Christmas Day puzzle to work with

Happy with the team, genuinely missed one player in Sutherland and had the Allen injury but other than that I think I'm off to a decent start.

Most of my trades will be locked in if I go down this route but looking like:
Seifert -> Short
Webster -> Salzmann
Allen -> Thornton
Rogers -> Morris



Essentially a boost behind everyone else going Allen -> Thornton as I was tossing up between these two for my last bench spot. I still have a bit of flexibility in that I can pivot from Morris depending on how the loops go tonight. Would also prefer to hold Rogers over Milne but need his cash to make these trades work.

Only the 6 doubles for me this week, could've been 7 but is what it is, good luck everyone for this week!

In politics they have a habit of burying bad news on a Friday as late as possible to try and keep it out of the news cycle... Here's hoping there's no bad news in store!
