If Kerr gets up, I’ve got 4 pre-trades
DGRs next round:

Edwards probably the priority, maybe Walter.

Not afraid to jump off Short and jump back on for R4.
Depending on what you want to do next Round , I would be inclined to upgrade Wood this round.

Buckingham , Doran , Konstas all unlikely to play next Round + Zampa on the Bye.

Milne ✈️

Kerr possibly replaces Abbott.

You might have some issues.

I guess you trade out O'Neill

I don't own M Short but wouldn't be afraid to trade him out and back in.

Going to be interesting to see if people can hold the likes of Behrendorff , Overton , Seifert , M Short , Sutherland etc or need to trade them out in order to get their preferred Round 3 trade targets

Good advice, I might sit and wait for teams - Can trade O’Neil and still get 12 players

Heat

Prestwidge (out of the Squad) only bowled 1 v the Stars (conceded 13) so do they replace him with Wildermuth or just go with 5 Bowlers and play 6-5 ?

New coach , players missing but last season they were always 5-6

McSweeney/Renshaw can always "buy" a over or 2 if needed

Might be :-

Banton
Munro
McSweeney
Renshaw
Peirson (WK)
Bryant
Good point.

One would think that they would maintain the same structure that won them the title, unless personnel changes or circumstances dictate (which they may).

I’d be quite interested in Wildermuth if he comes in, albeit the role/JS may not be as good as was hoped.

I guess it comes down to the way Botha sees T20 being played and whether he needs to change the winning formula.

Been involved in the PSL , CPL & MLC from memory.

Tactics/strategies seem to be ever changing

I guess another thing with the BBL is that with the shortened PP & the PS it is completely different tactically wise to other T20 competitions around the world.

I think it was Finch saying the other night openers used to build then target 5 & 6 in the PP not it's going helter skelter from ball 1.

Stoinis was highlighting how different it is for middle order bats when you suddenly have the PS to deal with.

No BE yet for Banton but if you look at Alsop and Chohan who are both the same price and yet to play is it safe to assume his BE will be 40.

Is it worth using a boost to bring him in for JFM this round?

He would have to sit on the bench and have the E.

Currently my WK E is Seifert who's score will count for Doran, Bat E score will not count as B1 to 5 have all played.

I am leaning towards this as JFM only averages 8.6 against Perth with a high of 35 and has a BE of 71, even if I can't get Bantons score it saves me from losing more cash with JFM and gives me the WK cover I will need for next round.

Does anyone have any ideas of Heat or Renegade players who could be appealing as donuts to play (missing this round, ideally back next)?

Still working my way through the Shaw machinations, seeing if I should get Overton as C or not.

Banton might be an option, depending on how quickly they throw him in.

I believe the Gades have a bye next round, so they won't be useful.

Have we got any update as whether he is playing next round?
On December 17, Swepson said he expected Johnson to be back sometime in the next couple of games.

I also recall reading somewhere that the Heat were expecting Johnson back this year sometime while Neser was more likely to return next year.

BBL 09 was when Banton last played

16 (7)
64 (36)
7 (10)
8 (5)
56 (19) 😱
17 (17)
55 (32)

Going to be quick fire if he gets going

Big Bash Board has him opening in 136 out of 147 Innings

Prefers to bat @ 1(96 times) and averages + 5.09 compared to batting @ 2.

Now who partners him at the top ? and how do they reshuffle 3-6.
My recorded scores were:

Thank you, Banton is a good shout.

I’m okay with a Gades option if they play R4!
