Good from all players tonight with all seven of them going at a minimum of 41.
Traded out Green last night and then traded Bethell tonight so I could be on an absolute monster but I’m not going to get too down in the dumps about it as I wasn’t even close to being in contention heading into this round.

Bench: Bethell 170
Owen excellent, even got a bowl! Meredith thrived with Jordan out and got better overs. Chaudhary great. Wade great too, but getting out when he did allowed David to get his quick 20 and Bethell to get another wicket. Ellis good. Rogers and Sutherland okay. Doran poor.
Wasn’t able to properly check teams. Green ticks and red circles but not the actual batting order. Long story short, if I had time on my hands I likely would’ve VC’d Chaudhary instead. I ran with Wade + Doran (73) but I likely would’ve gone either David + Doran (57) or Wade + Bethell (236). I assumed they’d be running with Wade opening, Doran somewhere in the top order, and 6-5. Very frustrating but hard to know for sure which way I would’ve gone.
Still another game to go for the other options to try catch up to Bethell. Hoping Doran gets another crack. Hurricanes sitting pretty up the top, give Jordan his rest

Ticks for the night go to Owen VC and Chaudary. Got absolutely stiffed with Stanlake but screwed myself with Doran. Hopefully they both play the second game for a few more points. Brown also a huge miss but he only stayed in the team because Warner (E) didn't score enough. Overall a decent night. Now to choose between Smith and Short. After committing to Stanlake to give myself the option of Short, I think I better go with him and hope for the best.

The 2nd of the Canes DGRS haven't even started and I've already beaten my last rounds score in 2 games lol. Oh how I've missed you DGRs, it's been a long time. Can't tell you a round this season where all 3 of my new recruits have gone 50+. Wade was basically a forced trade in due to Harper on the bye. Meredith was always a lock for me. The last one was either David or Ellis and normally I'd go the bowler but opted for the batter this time currently a loss of 7 which isn't much so far. Didn't really consider Owen so I can't really be mad about that. I may risk Roger's 42 on the bench to play a sixer but will need to think it over as Sixers have that potential rained out game next round. Also yet to drop a low score yet as 41 is currently the lowest but I suspect I'll get a lower one in tmr's game.

All things considered losing 40 or so points to Owen VC not the end of the world. Was going to go for him due to his fielding, which made him 40 points tonight, basically the entire difference!
Still a choice or two ahead. Have enough in the war chest for Matt Short but considering going rogue instead considering I'm not exactly in top end contention...
