It’s not ideal… I’ve already got 5 Hurricanes and a trade left to spare. I was going to use the trade on getting rid of a renegades player and trading them to a Hurricane, but with the rain around I think I probably need to get rid of Bartlett and trade him to possibly Abbott? Don’t know if I want 6 Hurricanes players going into next round.

The forecast looks better for Brisbane than Sydney Friday. Abbott also has to bowl on the road at Adelaide Oval.

2 of 3 emergencies failed but fortunate to have Tom Andrews. Will need to dump at least one of Curran and Stoinis to avoid a donut. Weather looking reasonable for Heat v Hurricanes on Thursday so am looking at the following:

Bank $30,900

Out: Curran, Stoinis, Bartlett
In: Wade, Ellis, Smith

Remain $8,000

Ellis (vc) into
Smith or Short whoever bats first

Current ranking 804 might as well go all out you reckon?

Life got in the way again last night, lol, missed the Jordan out until about 1 minute before lock-out so missed moving him on, getting him off field and still had the VC on him, lol.

Managed to reverse the Bethell to Owen trade to still have a trade left, plan was always Maxwell to Short, but not much point now.

If Jordan was to miss both games, I could still do Maxwell to Short, but if Jordan plays the 2nd game then it is pointless as I can not get Short on field anyway and I still have to find a C

Current set up:

So I either trade Maxwell to Short, swap Manenti with Short and make Short C (and forgo Connolly (E)), trade Maxwell to Short, put E on Short (and hope Jordan misses again).

Don't have enough cash to update the trade outs of Thornton and Stoinis.

Really don't know what I will do at this point, not sure there is much point doing anything.

Cheers, yeah that is one option and probably the one I have to go with, really not happy with having to go in with only 3 DGR players, but no point crying over spilt milk, I guess the good news is that Bethell earnt his keep and at least the ones I got this week Chaudhry and Meredith (already had Wade), both posted good scores, Owen over Chaudhry would have been better, but would have meant that I did not have the cash to go Maxwell to Short.

Anyway onwards we go.

No worries. You do have to look at two rounds with Bethell now gone and Christian a DNP this week. Rain could also impact Billings.

Edwards hasn’t done a lot recently, but I would have thought him by a margin in that scenario. We’ve seen recently that all rounder types (Bethell, Sutherland, arguably Green, M Short and Maxwell) can explode when the planets align.

Dwarsh is the only player in my team at the right price point to not have to change my trade ins except Overton who I would rather keep with his DPP.

Well, after a sneaky look at my phone at 7-27 last night at work I found another player and traded Dwarsh back in for Jordan

Haven't heard yet why Jordan was out but presume I will shortly as I am catching up now.

Lock in any of those with a game to come. Easiest decision of the season.

I regretted not locking in Chaudhary’s 55 last round. Buckley’s chances of overlooking him this time!

Is Webster definitely playing next round? Might want to find that out before you commit to anything.

I’d personally go for Kerr. He could easily clear that with some luck.
