Can’t wait for Ellis to not bowl Chaudhary’s 3rd in favour of his own version of a buffet.

i’ve given up, 14 year old who was 8th at one point but i’m barely in top thousand, always next year
Well done on getting yourself into a great position one stage. Don’t give up. Play the season out and learn from your experience so that you can improve next time.

What was working for you when you got into that position?
Were you picking players based on their skill/reputation or following the fixture to pick players playing more games?
Were you prioritising scoring points or building team value early?

What started going wrong?
Did you get caught out by weather, players on byes, injuries, or team not generating enough cash?
Did some risky selections, such as lower order bat only players or bowlers who don’t bowl a lot start letting you down?

If you had multiple players from one team in a round, how varied were their roles? Were you heavy in batters or bowlers or allrounders from that team? Did pitch conditions play a role?

If you had multiple players from two teams playing each other, how did their roles compare? Did you have a lot of your bowlers bowling to your batters?

Was there anything else that you noticed comparing your team to others? Both in the rounds you went well and not so well.

Use these last few days to look back over your season and work out what you might do differently next time. Maybe even try and do an experiment with your final trades (in and out) to test any theories you might have.

Don’t just give up. See what you can take from the season that will help you to improve your game next year.
