Good luck to the coaches at the pointy end!! To be in this position with a round to go is a huge achievement that most only dream of.. I’m sure there are a lot of emotions but hopefully you can enjoy your success however the last round unfolds. The community is rooting for you all!

BoM has rain at a 70% chance during the hours of tomorrow's game.
25% chance of more than 4mm/hour, which in cricket terms, is reasonably heavy.
Forecast has changed dramatically from just under 10mm early yesterday to 24mm today.

I’m not even sure my own cricket game on Saturday will be on, let alone the Sydney Derby…

1,036 - David

There's an alternative universe where I have Smith, Owen (VC) and Bethell over M. Short, David and Buckingham (as a scorer) that puts up 1500 and into 41st!

Oh well. Time to get some allrounders and still chase my goal. Lucky I only have 2 pieces from the Sydney match up, so this should make it plausible to jump up.

Apologies to my doubles partner Max @Amazing Bombers I let you down this week. Words can't describe my round, from McDermott missing both doubles, to Stanlake having a catch dropped off his 1st over, then being ruled out for the game and year whilst taking a catch with the vc on him. Abbott and Neser non performers, Hatzoglou not a great selection, should have selected Owen at least, captain pod D'arcy didn't quite work out, now dropped nearly 5000 spots.

4 trades available this round 😁😁 unfortunately limited to 3, that's my season in a nutshell. Congratulations to our members in with a winning chance!!

Dropped to outside the top 1k. Just the 1 wicket total from both Neser/Bartlett in 2 rounds has absolutely destroyed me and have dropped about 800 spots since owning both. Aim is to probably get back into the top 1k at the very least.

999 (Wade). Not a great round - dropped 123 places to be 361 overall. Wade as captain ended up being an error - VCd him thinking he would open and was then caught out. Very frustrating watching him not get a proper bat last night, but that's the game.

Should be pretty well set up this round to dodge the weather if need be, so.my goal at this point is my previous PB which is a rank of 264.

Well done to those on here in contention! There are so many of you - this site really sets the standard.

766 (Neser) @ 51.1 PSI (54.0 season)
Rank: 690 (from 134)

Obviously, I didn't get the memo to load up on Hurricanes for the round.
Took a punt and got absolutely caned (no pun intended).
I knew I was in for a lowish round but never imagined it to be this bad as every Canes went off and none of my 3 INs scored above Doran, including Neser whose scored would've drop out had he not been my captain.

I'm excited and eagerly await another SCS face off over the next few days. All the very best to our coaches in contention, final results aside, you should all be immensely proud of your achievements.

dropped out of the top 1k by about 450 due to low scores like stanlake or bartlett.

as for this round, should we prioritise trading out 6ers and thunder as their game is probably washed out?

or trade out hurricane players as if the game does infect get washed they have no reason to play all their best playersa and can just rest them.

Hurricanes wouldn't have the depth to rest more than a couple. In my opinion Wade and Meredith are probably the most likely if they can rest.

You have to go in order of the games I think. If it is bucketing down at 6 45 and there is a delay in the toss, then Sixers/Thunder need to go (worst case, E them). You can trade them Stars guys to give yourself maximum time to see different XIs over the weekend (unless you already have a tonnes of Stars of course). Shoet version is I think the best thing we can do os give ourselves as much flexibility as possible across this round.

Safe to say im myself going into the final round. Never thought i'd be in with a chance of winning a SuperCoach format especially after being 270 points behind 1st last round now down to just 11. Thanks to all of Green, Bethell, Overton and S.Johnson for getting me here. 1st and 2nd overall have had M.Short and Owen captain the last 2 weeks vs my Sutherland and Chaudary. About a 210 point difference just there alone so im rapt to still be in with a chance. Alot to consider this week between rained out games, potential restings and going down the unique path. Don't usually mind sharing my trades before the round starts but will likely keep them close to my chest for just this one week. Good luck to all the SCS members around me, hopefully one of us can win it all! Its been a great season and hopefully come Sunday night i'm not ruing my 50/50 choices over the course of the season if they turn out to be the difference in the end. Time for the most nervous weekend of my life.
