Happy with that only taking in Chaudhary(C) and Owen. I doubled up on avoiding the Hurricanes by having the triple heat with Johnson 93, Bartlett 26 and Neser 9. Hoping they pay off in the final round vs the Renegades.

Singles: Shaw, Sutherland, Connolly(VC), Neser, Johnson, Morris, Rogers, Behrendorff and Bartlett.
Doubles: Chaudhary(C) and Owen

1042 Ellis (16SI @ 65.12), Manenti dropping out

Sort of reminiscent of round 1 where I missed Sutherland, similar story with Owen. I was never picking him so can’t be too upset.

Sort of in that no mans land rank sitting just outside the top 200 so going to have a bit of fun and throw a few darts in the last round.

Congrats to all the SCS members sitting up top, we’re all cheering you on!

Thankyou and my pleasure, but my next word of wisdom is don’t always follow my advice! :ROFLMAO:

However, learn from your mistakes. A lot of great batters say they never want to get out the same way twice. Same goes for SuperCoach. If you try something and it goes against you, tweak your approach for next time. Taking the same approach and hoping for more “luck” (or less “bad luck”) is not the way to go. It is a game of percentages, so play them with head, not heart!

BBL is much more volatile when it comes to scoring than other SC sports. Therefore it is more important to weigh up risk, and I have found that opportunity (player role and scoring opportunity) outweighs individual player skill … well at least until I get better at picking the eyes out of player form each game!

I hope that you take the time to review your team and learn from mistakes, and if you do, I really hope you win it three times! (y)
BBL supercoach has a big element of risk, a grea examnple of this is matt short this round. since both he and steve smith kiilled it last round, people rushed tto bring ome in (thankfully i chose the right one). he wet from 100+ runs to 4. super inconsisten! thags why it is imprtsnt to not hang on to risky plyers as theyh can ruin your r ound

ill be keeping this all in mind whe i win it next ywr :D

It’s a crapshoot. No other way around it. You can pick the guys with the absolute best roles all year (I have) but you can’t predict a 50k player becoming borderline league MVP. The nature of T20 lends itself to an incredibly high amount of variance game to game, it takes skill and a lot of luck to even do well aha

Down 343 to 2100, ouch.
Overton, Green and Bethell didn't help. I've made a few mistakes this season but that was rough still. Hoping to at the very least finish in the top 2k, with a previous worst of 1005 it's going to take a lot of luck for this not to finish below that mark.

Enough negativity though, congrats to our many coaches in contention for the overall(3 on podium at the moment) and those others with great ranks, will be an interesting finish!

1387 placed me 30th for the round which I believe is my PB. This improved my rank from 1586 to 373 and my mood considerably.

Note however that I was still 141 points behind the round winner so not even having the C on Owen (which I never contemplated being BAT only prior to this round) would still have left me 44 points short. The dream of a round win in a fantasy comp remains destined to remain just that.

That's some jump!
Well done!
