Another blockbuster trade through:

Core is Fox to Spurs, LaVine to Kings.

Huerter, Tre Jones and Zach Collins to Bulls, Jordan McLaughlin to Spurs also and Sidy Cissoko also to Kings. Also a ton of picks, mostly to Sacramento.

Not sure how it impacts. Fox probably hurts Wemby a bit but could also benefit him with more easy looks. Sabonis the big benefactor in Sacramento, imo, as he will be their only real option to run the offense through now, has always spiked with Fox out in the past, that said LaVine a bit of a black hole who can kill offensive flow so might hurt in that regard., can shoot though so good for creating more space for Sabonis.

Definitely a good move for the Spurs, imo. Haven't given up much at all and get one of the best guards in the league who should fit nicely with Wemby for the next half decade.

4th in the end, if Lillard had got me the dream I'd have gotten there. Alternatively if I'd gone Booker instead of Lillard, who was the other option, also would have got there, went Lillard because of the much lower BE though so can't really fault it.

Now one of 5 SCS guys in the top 10 which is pretty wild to see, awesome effort by all.

Managed 926 Jokic

Jokic 174
Tatum 109
McDaniels 90 certainly wasn't expecting that

Hart 88

Okungwu 66
Herro 62
Davis 60
Murray 55
Westbrook 48

Even without the missed games probably still 150-200 points off the pace

Plan was going to be a bench down & upgrade Herro & Murray

Now things change with Davis & Westbrook

Hart , Herro & Tatum all on 3 as well so probably take another points hit

An update for 9 of my 10 leagues (all SCS members in them)

A very mixed round for most of us with an even share of blue and red
- Quite a few missed games this round from AD, Ball, Daniels, Edwards, Gafford, Garland, LaVine, Murray, Westbrook etc

Teams in the top 10 this round were:
- @wogitaila (4th)
- not far behind him was @Quasimodo (13th)

The top league overall rankings will be covered in a subsequent post ...
- but this table will show rankings amongst league sizes only

Put up a 1,221. I'm also in the luxury position of not having to figure out a way to get SGA back in:

Option 1 would involve 'a power forward' going to Wemby or Boney while using definitely Wallace and probably Butler.

Option 2 would involve both power forwards and Wallace going to 2 pieces worth $34 million(ish) plus Dillingham or AJJ.

If Gafford was less murky, I'd be all about Option 1, but I am considering Option 2.

It's wild to me to see so many people using "injury prone" for Luka. but a general observation on the internet lately.
Informative video on the topic below.

One of my major fantasy sports gripes (never again list, overuse of CBA, injury prone) given the term is brandished around willy nilly without understanding what it means. People fail to dig further identifying whether injuries were of a contact or non contact nature, the associated recurrence rates and the recency bias if say a concussion and hamstring happen in quick succession (same season) then a player magically becomes “injury prone”, even if they went for a considerable amount of time injury free. People then flock to the ”durable” players expecting the streak to continue for the remainder of their career and then act all surprised when they miss time and the perceived high risk options do not.

Internet is no place for measured responses, so overly emotional language and a battle to see who is the loudest and what elicits the most responses will always win out given you can perpetuate and amplify anything, which is not a new fad in a culture where everyone believes their opinions have validity no matter how ill informed they are on any topic.

Above more a general statement rather than in regards to a specific situation (Luka) but always good to keep in mind to separate the wheat from the chaff which is why I appreciate the work from NRL Physio and Stephania Bell in attempting to educate fantasy players in NRL and NFL.

I'm not going to climb the ranking when my players keeping missing games.
Two of my starting players, Ball (5) and LaVine (23), were outscored by their bench player.

My trades are:
OUT - Zach LaVine, Jayson Tatum & LaMelo Ball
IN - Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Devin Booker & Christian Braun
$968,000in the Bank.

My team was very similar, Ball, LaVine, Westbrook outscored by benchies

Westbrook is also injured (hammy) and has been ruled out for Nuggets next game. I ended up trading him down to a cheapie on-field option & holding Tatum for this week.

Thanks for that, I didn't realise Westbrook was injured. I will have another look and swap Tatum with Westbrook.

The cannons at this stage will take option one and hold Gafford. If he finds his way to stay at Dallas, he has no real threat to points until all star…

6 of the best possible players on their lines.
2 decent on court cash generators in Gafford and Thompson
And the golden run and opportunity for Bridges in Charlotte.

I'd look at Ball, LaVine and Westbrook out first ....
- LaVine is fit but likely to miss at least the first game ...

Value options are Gafford, Okongwu, Bridges and Oubre etc ...
- all carry some sort of risk though ....

- Oubre (Embiid back ??)
- Okongwu (sense some trades looming which may or may not help him)
- Gafford (Doncic gone and AD in ??)
- Bridges (Ball out so who else is going to step up now)

Agree, Ball, LaVine and Westbrook out plus the Cap = $44,878,000
I really would like to get Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in = $22,338,000 left

I like Booker or Bridges but have no idea which Cheapie to field.
Devin Booker - Phoenix Shooting Guard | Point Guard - $15,860,000
Miles Bridges - Charlotte Small Forward | Power Forward - $13,620,000

Do you think I have to forget Shai Gilgeous-Alexander? That way I won't have to have a cheapie on field.
