Sandi out this week will make things very interesting for the teams at the top. Three of the teams will be forced to burn a precious trade to avoid a donut. Some of the other teams may elect to use a trade anyway if they have enough up their sleeve.

1. C-Money: Has both Ben Brown and Stef Martin as backup. No trade.
2. Oh Kill Em: Has Derickx and Currie on the bench who are very unlikely to play this round. 1 trade.
3. Torrential Raines: Has Stef Martin to switch with Thurlow as backup. No trade.

Love the uncertainty of Brown out, Sandi not playing. Honeychurch out of Dogs 22 and Wood cheap ruck option the round Sandi does not play and it happens all on a split round...so lots of unknowns for next weekend and coaches running lower on trades so cannot be trading recklessly. Meanwhile Stefan Martin turned up like a god send for many a month or so back and been a gem until now but part of coaches wanting him was ideally an option to also back up for a round like this with Sandi out... Will this be the round he puts in an untimely stinker ?

How will the Sandi, Stefan Martin, Ben Brown and Cam Wood ruck movements and options effect top end rankings in this two weekends ?
Coaches up there had much to ponder in last 24 hours. Look forward to what happens and whom did what as it reveals itself next weekend.

Handy given Sandi recent scores to be the guy filling in, if you can afford to trade a rookie ruck and get Wood in for the round Sandi misses and still keep the big old oak tree. If you missed the boat on the opportunity that presented itself tonight, hopefully your other plans for this round work out. If you intended to always trade Sandi for a premium ruck it won't matter.

Ben Brown out last night makes things even more interesting with both number 9 and 10 forced to trade in the rucks to avoid a donut. That means 5 teams in the top 10 had to trade to avoid a ruck donut.

Moving week for Slobs. Back into contention hopefully. Good start last night. Stefan Martin to slot into Sandi's spot whilst others are hurting. F6 going to be weak but hopefully pull off a par 60-70. Needs big weeks for Barlow and Kieren Jack and could make up a couple of hundred points on the top couple.
I can see a couple of the top ten falling away without trades to replace Sandi. They are at the pointy end because they have been aggressive with their trading and I wouldn't mind guessing a few are flush out. Sandi was always going to pose this problem and props to Slobs for having the contingency in place.

Top two teams probably cope with Sandilands not playing quite well.
I suspect 2nd team used a trade to get by. Either trade Sandi to another premium ruck. Also has Currie or Derickx to easily trade to Wood for example.

No need to trade for Sandilands with Stefan Martin R3, plus no Hibberd or Bartel in aps team is a good thing.
Although Pavlich did no favours and not having Stevie J but having Barlow instead gives a bit back.

Team in 15th place also has no need to trade to cover Sandilands. Also has no Hibberd or Bartel and has Robbie Gray up forward without Pavlich.
503 points of the leader at start of round though. A lot to make up on teams in top five to get back in it. If got trades up sleeve whom knows...
