Is anyone else having trouble accessing the SC Gold Team Picker this morning? Mine seems to have disappeared.
Mine is still working, maybe check your subscription to SC Gold/News Limited hasn't expired or something... They're pretty dodgy.

Just tried it again shake n bake, and all seemed ok
Thanks Magic Man :) I have logged in and out a few times and my team picker seems to have disappeared. Very strange. It's not so much of a problem as I have my team in a spreadsheet, however now I can't check through all the prices and I am currently on holidays so don't have access to my computer and other information. How am I supposed to enjoy my holidays if I can't do my SuperCoach Team planning? :(

Does the new live scores in match centre mean that if you have SC Gold you will be able to get the live scores again? As it was a few years back

Fingers crossed. I'm hoping they've integrated Live-HQ + the actual SC website. It sounds like they want to run a live feed in the activity feed, so I'm assuming it's all going to be 1 big package this season. Which is great news, if this is the case!

Amazing news in here guys. Live scores via Match Centre, and increased prizes for the 2015 competition! :D

...I've edited out most of the hype, and stuff we already know...

From the end of this month, SuperCoaches will be able to start selecting their teams for 2015.
A huge boost in prizemoney and a range of new features and game enhancements will make SuperCoach more fun — with a bigger reward — than ever.

MORE CASH
This year the overall prize will be massive while more players than ever will be rewarded through an expansion of weekly prizes, with prizes to be boosted for Herald Sun+, Courier Mail+ and The Advertiser+ members as well as Fox Sports digital subscribers. A full announcement on cash and prizes will be coming soon. Stay tuned. You won’t be disappointed.

FASTER AND FRIENDLIER
An improved mobile site and apps mean you can play SuperCoach anytime, anywhere, with full desktop functionality. The sign-in process has been completely rebuilt so you spend less time logging in and more time playing the game.
Your team will also have a new home ground in 2015 — the new SuperCoach homepage will present all the SuperCoach and fantasy news that matters to you, plus a beefed-up activity feed where you can play mind games with your friends and receive breaking alerts — if Gary Ablett tweaks his hammy in the warm-up, we’ll let you know!

SUPERCOACH CUP
Our new last-man-standing knockout competition sees users who qualify compete against another user until the final round when the overall champion is crowned. That’s just one of the fun new games that will enhance your SuperCoach experience.

NO MORE ROUND 23 DISASTERS
You’ve worked all year to perfect your line-up for your SuperCoach Grand Final, only for AFL coaches to rest half your team and ruin six months of work. We’re not putting up with it any more. After listening to the fans, the 2015 SuperCoach private league season will start in Round 2 and culminate in Round 22, when skill can decide your league champion, not luck.

LIVE SCORES WHERE YOU NEED THEM
Live SuperCoach scores will be available for the first time in the match centre on the SuperCoach site. Herald Sun+, Courier Mail+ and The Advertiser+ members as well as Fox Sports digital subscribers can see how every kick, goal and turnover affects their score as it happens.

...Although the overall prize increase sounds great, it seems to suggest that some of the other prizes may be only on offer to "Herald Sun+, Courier Mail+ and The Advertiser+ members as well as Fox Sports digital subscribers".
This also seems to be the case for the Live SuperCoach scores.
I'm hoping these features would be available for everybody, or even maybe SuperCoach Gold subscribers as Goodies Guns and Hawk said.
I don't like the idea of having to pay the expensive membership or subscription fees for the Herald Sun or Fox Sports.

Youngun's like me (I'm lying) don't buy newspapers anymore so they need subscribers and all the research says that sport is one of the best vehicles for news services to get people subscribing.

With the SC cup I think they will have a cap on numbers, in the article it says

"Our new last-man-standing knockout competition sees users who qualify compete against another user until the final round when the overall champion is crowned. That’s just one of the fun new games that will enhance your SuperCoach experience".
I reckon it will be first in best dressed.
Does anyone have an idea on what the cap will be? They will want to cap it so the final 2 go against each other in round 22 ?
Any one who's good at maths willing to have a go at working it out?
Will be capped I'd think if there are 2 left in rd 22 at rd 2 there would need to be almost 2.1 million signed up and since the best you could hope for would be 400k by seasons end I'd say there is more to play out on this like the best 50% of losers scores also advance? Will wait and see I guess

no access to team picker #$%$#$@#%$herald sun!

I'm having the same problem. If you click on one of the remaining supercoach gold links you will get a subscription window where you will find the following statement in the fine print...

" ***Expires January 19, 2015. Includes early exclusive access to the 2015 AFL player list & prices and 2015 Team Planner (Mid Dec, 2014)"

So it seems they cut us off on January 19th. Is that mean or what? And why does everybody else still have access? I have emailed them about it but they haven't sent me a reply yet. Why don't you try too... if enough people complain...

Might start something like 6 or 7 rounds into the season.
