looks like there is enough interest already to start a $20, $50 and $100 league.
what happens if a player doesnt pay up?
do they get kicked out before final lock out and replaced. this seems fair doesnt it

I'd be keen if spots for $100 league or whatever. I also agree that distribute the $$ more to the overall point winner rather than grand final winner - its too hit and miss for the GF. Thanks guys!

I'm interested in the cash league.

Highest overall player should get the majority of the money, and the GF winner gets a small consolation prize. After all, most people's goals are overall ranking, we shouldn't be compromising our teams just for that GF win.

Example prizes for $100 league:

Highest overall: $1100
2nd Highest overall: $500
GF Winner: $200

For what it's worth, this is the prize structure for our work league. The concept behind the prizes is to keep everybody playing until the end, and interested throughtout. Avoid ghost ships and disinterest due to bad luck. It may not be relevant to high performers on this site in high stakes games, but works well with the mixtures of ability and time commitment.

$20 entry fee.

# Premiership Winner $180
# Runner Up $80
# Minor Premiership - Money Back $20
# Highest Season Points - Total $20
# Highest Individual Points - Round $20
# Spot prizes–Highest Pts (Rd 4, 8, 12, 16) $10ea

Happy to be involved in some level of money league.

Cheers KLo

For a $20 one I like the idea of something like this, or a slight variation

Grand Final Winner: $140
Grand Final Runner Up: $80

Highest Individual Points: $140

Fairly simple, but with a $20 league to get some sort of substantial prize and make it worth while doing, I don't think you can't spread it across too many things

$50 or $100 league , count me in if any spots still available.
Tend to agree with rewarding overall rank as much or more than GF winner

I'm interested in all overall rank cash leagues, so yeah please count me into as many $20, $50 and $100 leagues that you got going and I'll pay up straight away, thanks.

Yeah mate. There'll be a cut off date and if they haven't paid they'll be booted. I'll have a stand by list, either on scs or worst case scenario ppl from my home league to avoid randoms jumping in.

At the moment it's looking like 1 x $20, 1 x $50, 1 x $100 league/combo focus, 1 x $100 overall/combo focus. This far out I reckon it's possible we'll get another league or three so we'll potentially have the possibility of league and overall focus.

At work it feels like taking candy from a baby sometimes. 17 game winning streak in 2013 and a double digit one last year. The cash leagues here scare me, which is why I'll happily be in a $50, maybe a $100.

After Round 13 feel free to remind me that I have not yet been on a 10 game streak, and like my mighty tigers, the best I can do is 9 :)

I'm with Rowsus. I'll pony up for a $20 league if there are spots still available. There are other charitable causes I can give my money away to if not :p
