It's been great for my footy tipping. Almost every week at least 1-2 have forgotten to get their tips in haha

I not got to my AFL Fantasy team for weeks now. Totally given up bothering as just forgot to get to it too many times that not worth worrying about once you miss a few weeks already.

I missed doing my SC team last night. Like Johno was a bit busy and only got my FDL and keeper league teams done.
I realized later at night I left Gray in midfield when wanted to switch forward for Bennell and get Bennell on bigger midfield bench.
Not a big issue though. Least did not stuff up leaving VC on anyone or leave anyone on bench.

You just made me check my own team. Shocking luck for Johno.

He could still beat his opponent though.

I playing Johno in one ten team league. Helps me have a good chance of a win now despite having to carry Bennell, Docherty and Sloane as outs. A win for me will put me on same wins with better percentage so I'll take it but feel for Johno as not been his year. Had a real unique point of difference in Gibbs but after a bruised back I think Johno traded him to Rockliff and then Rocky to Sloane. Butterfly effect in way you never want.

For me last night Tom Mitchell and Gray did their job. Now need Hodge and Pendles to keep things on the up. Would love Hugh Goddard to play this week. He looks like being my sixth forward at this stage and down back with Doch out have to go with Hamling or Edwards. If Watson does not play for Essendon and Goddard does not play for Saints I reckon Johno could still beat me .... lol
Especially when he has JPK and Krakouer both have excellent games last night.
Still working out how to use my Sloane trade. Sloane to Rockliff would have been a no brainer if Rocky was picked.

I'm quite sure they don't have a system in place for this. My guess would be if the game is cancelled, they get zeros and it's too bad so sad. That's what bench cover is for I suppose.

That is what I was thinking myself, they probably get a 0 for not playing

You would think that such a popular comp such as supercoach would have a contingency plan for games or rounds that are cancelled.

CD do not do Supercoach.
Supercoach simply uses CD ranking system.
Virtual sports I think are the mob that do the fantasy game.
If Geelong and Crows game is called off I have no doubt Virtual Sports will just treat it like those players did not play and if you got emergencies so be it.

I know it's unprecedented, but surely that's why we have bench cover, to deal with the unexpected. Hawkins didn't get his average when his mother passed away. Roughie won't get his average this week after being diagnosed with melanoma. Rioli didn't get his average for attending a funeral this week. etc etc etc. Obviously the scale and magnitude is much greater but in SC terms it seems a bit rough to in this one special scenario give players points they didn't actually get. It would unfairly impact players prices as well.

For transparency - I have Danger (133), Smith (55), Sloan (83) in my current team. I'd love to slap the (C) on danger and claim his 133 captain score, bench Brodie and cover him easily and trade Sloan to beams. My points aren't going to be impacted negatively, I just don't think it's right to speculatively hand out points if they don't play.

CD's got nothing to do with supercoach in a sense.
Supercoach just use there scoring system.

Giving averages / projections would be a better option than this IMO. The bye rounds where you have a "best 18" you are missing 6 teams, not 2. It would save people who are copping donuts already.

I think the show will go on anyway. I think people will pay tribute to Walsh and it will be up to the named players if they choose to take the field or not.

I'd say all the players will get a 0 (or DNP).

Completely different circumstances but I play Big Bash fantasy over the summer and if a game is abandoned due to weather then all players get 0, or whatever they are on at the time the game is called off.

Guess we will know in due course, definitely isn't the most important thing at the moment.
