Just making note of something very interesting I've noticed.

The team coming 2nd overall and the team coming 6th overall have completely identical teams expect for one player, the team coming 2nd has Armitage while 6th has Hanneberry.

Same coach managing two sides?? Find it hard to believe that it could just be a coincidence.

Yes, a bit sus and a very interesting observation Lenny5.

However I reckon the psyche behind having two (or more) teams suggests many different trades would made. Why would such an identical side exist by the same coach if the purpose of multi teams was to explore different possibilities.

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing this is like two people having similar Tatts tickets, but...I'd like to see both teams Trade History, that would sort it out. :)

Woosha director of coaching and Campo coach of crows for the rest of the year. Really happy with this.

Thanks Woosha....will be great for the Adelaide boys to have him there during this difficult period.

What are the chances!

Id say its either a coincidence or the two are good mates.

My own team is very similar to a mate of mine (only 4 on field pods) as we spend so much damn time talking about it together.

As Braider pointed out, it wouldn't be the same coach as I assume the point of coaching multiple teams is to go with different strategies/selections.

Great, great news. No doubt he's already a west coast legend but I'm he'll leave the Crows as an Adelaide legend for helping them out in their time of need, even if it's only for the rest of the year.

Had the choice of picking either Zorko or Christensen back in round 12 for essentially the same price and went Christensen as the 'not so obvious' selection. Their respective scores since then have been

Christensen: 86,94,79
Zorko: 91,119,124

A total deficit of 75 points in 3 rounds. Still a further 9 rounds to decide if that was indeed one of those 'sliding door' moments, but if the trend continues, it could translate to a negative 300 points decision!

Think it's great Woosha has jumped I'm board. I'd assume part of the reason he would be doing it would be his high regard and love for Walsh.

Got to game yesterday and there was a curtain raiser.
Someone kicked the ball from a kickout beyond the centre in last quarter. Did not quite catch whom kicked it. I sense it was Tom Fields as apparently he can kick it a long way.
Wrote this a week ago. Turns out as I suspected it was Tom Fields.
Channel 7 showed it on Saturday night coverage after 7pm and also Robbo on FoxFooty apparently brought it up during the week.
Can see it on video at the following link --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99wp-6zCy-c
Now wait for this. He has done it again. Second week in a row he has kicked it past the centre square on two football grounds.
Amazing. Triple MMM had it on their site on for this week

Incredible. Maybe only Jeff Fehring , Ben Graham or Billy Brownless have kicked the ball close to this distance in all the time I been following footy.

Not supercoach relevant, but I remember this time last year there was all this talk about the stoppages and "rolling maul". Pretty ugly look that really ruins the the game.
Is the default position for all the developing teams, melbourne, Saints, Dogs especially.
I remember last year crazy suggestions such as giving players zones they have to play in like netball amongst other suggestions regarding subs and bench rotations and reducing players on feild.
The idea being players rotate less fatigue more and are unable to spread as readily from stoppages as they do now.
The debate flew under the radar untill recently with record number of stoppages in the Freo GWS game.

I was just wondering what others though they would like to see happen to the game, if anything at all?

I think change is inevidible and I think a combination of reducing players to say 16 and capping rotations should at least be trialled in the NAB cup.

Thoughts...

I say stop changing the bloody rules. Let the game evolve as it has done in the past. Rule changes are a bad idea especially radical ones.

I would not muck around with reducing player numbers on field. Rather than change the game further of what we once enjoyed of more positional play I would be very happy to see a past change that brought so much of this rotation crap into the game just be ditched for good of the game. That is big change to game when we went from 2 on interchange bench to 3 and then to 4.
If it was brought back to two interchange players it would be so much better as a spectacle. If we only kept it at 2 on bench coaches cannot rotate so many players to continue the up and down the field running packs and tackling which in turn has lead to so much stoppages. They would have a tendency to not have everyone run up and down the field like they do now so some forwards would actually stay in their forward line. So often now, all your forwards have run down the field and if there is a turnover it is a race back to other end to get one of your players ahead of the play so there is someone to kick to. It is very frustrating to watch at times when at games live where you look up your forward line and no one there to kick to if you actually get it. But players run up and down the field because coaches can rotate players off when need a breather. They train to be run up and down field now.
I do not really care if it is a straight two players on bench or one of them is a sub but it would seriously make me happy to see the interchange bench no longer just a rotation system for 21 players against 21 players.
The sooner we get it back to a more genuine 18 on field v 18 it will improve as a spectacle to watch.
There is still good footy now but geez it is less of a spectacle for sure with so much rotations and stoppages in recent decade and a half.
My concern though is clowns like Malthouse kept asking for more on interchange. arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!
Thank god he is no longer coaching so his say will have less influence on the future of our game.

Not sure whether this has been mentioned, but am loving the newly revamped layout (Likes counter, team link at bottom right, etc!

Well done to those instrumental in making these changes.
