Cripps winning Carlton's best and fairest is a bit like owning a purebred female chihuahua that's suddenly got pregnant from what you think is the doberman next door but it was really just the chihuahua from up the road.

Yeah great season! :)

Collingwood cheer squad identity Jeff “Joffa” Corfe says he is “incredibly honoured” to have been nominated for Australian of the Year.
Corfe is known as a colourful face of the Magpies’ most passionate fans, but he does plenty of work for charity — including the Epilepsy Foundation and Reclink Australia, which aims to provide and promote sport and art for people experiencing disadvantage.
He received a letter this week informing him he has made the shortlist of 128 for the award — which will be cut again to 32 in eight weeks’ time before the final four is announced — but Corfe says who nominated him for the prestigious award remains a mystery.

Not sure if anyone has seen this but this just shows how much of a joke the heraldsun can be...the late mail section i think its called is near laughable.

Danger baited Gunston via twitter about not playing this week. Joking of course, trying to get the media to bite...nekkminnit

"Former teammates in cyber sledge exchange http://trib.al/R0lHDUh"

I think they removed the article because it just links to an article that now reads "Danger got them".

It's interesting as i just read the other day Malcolm Blight has just resigned his advisory position with the Suns. I'm reading a bit into my tea leaves here but i did wonder whether the Crows got wind of Worsfold going to Essendon and tapped Blighty on the shoulder to step into a similar sort of role as John is doing now with Campo staying on as senior coach.

Hey I probably will be on this radio show on RRR tomorrow if anyone cares to tune in: http://www.rrr.org.au/program/the-downlow/

I will discuss the pain I am in right now. Should I give the forum a plug?
Join Geraldine Hickey, Kate McLennan and Anne Edmonds for a unique look at sport.

Each week Geraldine, Kate and Anne investigate different sports and report back on a match they've attended, but please don't expect an expert discussion of the game. Do expect an in-depth look at the food, the toilets, spectator etiquette, things overheard on the tram, childhood stories, the tears of sore losers and an array of colourful guests. This is a show by the fans for the fans and it could get a little emotional.

Didn't you say you missed the game Mr Young?

How hard is it to unsubscribe to the Herald Sun after Super Coach? I think they need an email or something - it is not immediately apparent form the account page. Anyway, ended up just stopping my payment via Paypal ... Got my notification form HS today that my payment was unsuccessful. I'd like to support the service, but they take the **** with A) the amount and B) the lack of smooth running the expensive service.

Would I be complaining or removing subscription if it was a reasonable 5 buck a month or something? Probably not...

Yeah, not easy to find but most subscriptions are like that. You have to contact them by an email address that is listed in their terms and conditions of use. To their credit they refunded me an unused amount. I'll sign up again the day before supercoach starts next year mainly because of the increase in prizemoney for a subscriber. I'm happy to pay something for playing supercoach given that it is a hobby I get a fair amount of use from just like I donate to SCS each year because of the great website.
Many years ago I ceased my membership at fitness first but they wouldn't accept my resignation until I had sat an exit interview!!! Needless to say I did a fair bit of venting over the phone and then just stopped payment through the bank.

Just my opinion. Wouldn't mind Stewy Dew to get the gig.
Untried, but there wouldn't be to much pressure on him to get results on the board first up.
Has had a handy apprenticeship.
