given his frailty it would be hard to take him. also so many well priced mid premo available no reason to take him. finally gnr approach would also leave him on sidelines

I heard that he was in line for more midfield time and was training the house down but he will stay on my never again list.

Spent my money and patience on Lumumba last season. certainly capable of performing well for price. however would want to wait and see him show it before committing.

Berger and TBC will be cheap

Berger is possible value ruck and will likely be R2 in many teams in 2016. If he holds together could be a great choice. Dont see TBC as viable first ruck option. And based on history dont like to see two ruckmen in teams for a ruck to score at premo levels.

Would imagine many people regretting TBC as F/R choice last year.

Backline I like Carlisle, Brodie Smith, Talor Duryea, Melceski.
All provide some value.

B Smith if getting wing time will kill it. If only half back probably better choices out there.
Any chance of D Swallow getting M/B DPP? if he does he will have to be a starter.

This coming SuperCoach season will offer an abundance of value in the mid price range ( 240k-450k)
With the sub rule gone there will be value to sort through in that area. This year will be the only year you will be able to get the value out of these players.
Also this year came along with a few injures to a few key SuperCoach prospects.
So with that being said I think I might be leaning towards my first Mid Priced starting Lineup.

Yakka, will follow your season with interest. Agree that sub rule going and less interchanges will have some impact on the game. However still see GnR as safer approach as it is too hard to pick winners in the mid price arena

I wouldn't follow to closely
GnR is always the safe option. I have found the people that have finished in the top 1 % always take a few calculated risks on their mid price options.
A mid price range player that breaks out (250k -450k), presents a lot more SuperCoach value if they can +15-20 on their ave, rather than a rookie that plays with an ave of 60-70.
The rookies that you have confidence in scoring above that are must haves.

Thinking of now taking a punt with Ryan Harwood as his replacement. (similar price)
Had injury issues this year and is now back to full fitness. Should still be in the Lions best 22.
