Rockliff vs parker
R gray vs D beams
Langdon vs yeo
Rockliff by an absolute mile. Averaged 132 in 2014.
Ideally neither (there are plenty of better value mids in my view). Beams to average higher but play fewer games - Gray probably the better starting pick as a result.
Yeo for me, I'm hoping he plays more in the mids and continues to improve.

Agree with Nathan on Wines v Barlow as well.

In my opinion they are probably too expensive to take all of them. What order would you rank them in?
I have Wells and am not looking seriously at the rest unless something changes in the NAB.
Kennedy has played 25 games (inc. 12 full games) with one score above 78. He'd need to average fairly close to that to be a good pick.

M.Hibberd v K.Simpson ?
Can Hibbo get back to and average in the low/mid 90's ?
Great question - Hibberd looks a good pick if he can bounce back, I just have no specific reason to think he will.

Simpson is in my side and is basically always a solid choice, but I'd be open to Hibberd if the reason for his poor scoring was identified/resolved. I see a couple of people over here think he can bounce back (although not the Bomber fan!):

Greene needs midfield time to be Supercoach relevant. There he can get the contested possession numbers to hit the high 90s+. For him to achieve this injuries need to occur. Treloar has departed but Shiel and Coniglio will take this time.

Yeo needs midfield time and resting forward for his good scores. For him to achieve this injuries to backman need not to occur. West Coast should get all there backman back and backup youngsters will have another preseason under their belt, so will be more able to be solid replacements.

I see Yeo clearly ahead of Greene in this scenario.
Thanks KLo, it seems the extra midfield time I had hoped for is no given, and the rationale on Yeo makes sense. I think I will switch Greene for Yeo.

North Melb.
Rookie priced players to start in the Fwd line: B.Kennedy v J.Anderson v D.Wells ?
Can I make this a foursome...? (or a fivesome with 'v none')

B.Kennedy v J.Anderson v D.Wells v D. Menzel ?

Currently I have Menzel in my team.
Subject to his NAB form/scores/role.
Ideally none. That would require enough low priced rookies available, which is what we wish is available each year, and that they don't get injured early like last year. Otherwise you could consider one.

Otherwise in order:
* Wells, as his history is a 92.4 career average. Furthermore, as an established player he has the trust of the playing group which the others don't have given their game numbers. He must average 85+ as a minimum but more like 90 to be worthwhile.
* Anderson, as contested ball and inside 50s increase his scoring potential. North don't have Supercoach stars for long periods, especially youngsters. Goldstein excepted. He must average 85 minimum to be worthwhile.
* Kennedy and Menzel. I'd much rather a lower priced rookie. Again they need to average 80+ to be worthwhile.

Sloane and Pendles are clear first choices for me.

Sloane is more proven and has an injury discount as a kicker.

Pendles is one of the best SC players of all time, ranking in the top two scorers for 4 of the last 5 seasons, and also comes with an injury discount in my view.

Houli vs McDonald vs Yeo vs KK vs Hibbered vs simpson
Need a defender and dont know who
hmm tough one..i with row about houli..he will be around 85-90 player. i think your paying overs for him right at this point.
mcdonald and kk i dont know. for me its a wait and see.
there hasnt been alot of talk about hibberd. he had a poor season last year but he is normally around 90-95 player. i would expect him to be about that this season.
simo is consistent sc scorer.

if i was playing safe it will be simo, kk, hibberd and mcdonald.
