Papley must be a chance to play, TOG in NAB is around 70%. Only played the 2 games, didn't have much of the ball but he had great efficiency with 83%.

Think he definitely will play. The main question is will he play Round 2 when McGlynn might be back. I'd rather wait and see with him.

Just checked the NAB Summary threads, no chance.

Played one game, 65% TOG and 1 kick, 2 tackles and 7 SC points.

In what is often an indication of round one inclusions, a number of rookies have just been upgraded:

- Brant Colledge (West Coast)
- Tom Papley (Swans)
- Jason Holmes (St Kilda)
- Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti (Essendon)
- Ryan Davis (Gold Coast)

West Coast's Mitch Brown and the Swans' Gary Rohan make way for the above rookie inclusion, with both placed on their club's long-term injury list. Ditto for David Swallow (Suns).

Jason Holmes replaces Jake Carlisle as part of rules allowing a player to replace a WADA-banned player, with Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti being upgraded in place of a banned Essendon player.

Posted this in the Rookie thread...

Looks like he will play round 1 with the upgrade... but I'd say that's only because Hutchings is still underdone. Hutchings will play WAFL again this week and should be right to play after that, so Colledge could be out again next week.
