Opinion Round 1: Teams and In Game Discussions

I'm feeling really unsure about Menadue's JS. Don't know if i'm overthinking it though. It seems like a relatively straight forward play to start him on the bench with the big E and go from there but something tells me i'll be trading him out just as quickly.

I've just texted someone in his immediate support group to see what he thinks. Will report back!

I'm in the same boat. I have him up forward, and can't work out if I should field him or not. I can't really see how I am able to loophole him anyway, unless one of McCarthy or Tipa don't play, in which case I probably won't pick them anyway! My floating donut is Petracca in the middle but he links up with Menandue... lol.

This is my forward line. Suggestions welcome.

Cliff notes on what he said:
- all indications he'll play a fair few games
- they absolutely love him
- still light on so the bumps will no doubt take their toll
- this probably hasn't helped
- catch up for a beer soon...lol

So pretty much what we're all thinking anyway and i suppose seth has a point that he won't put a knock on him and at the same time, he won't/shouldn't be giving out too much inside info anyway.

I guess it's what you make of the list. THCLT summed it up pretty well earlier i think with Maric/Lids/Grigg/Yarran/Bachelor still to come back in.

Sorry GG, doubt Ruggles will play enough games in a row even if named.
Papley definitely will be named in fwds if that helps, but he'll be out R2 I fear.

Lee/Ruggles your best bets, but it seems unlikely.

If you don't care at all about what your D10 scores. K.Brand probably will play for hawks and score 30-40s.

Thanks for the reply mate, yeah it's a bit worrying, I may be able to turn Milera into a cheapie (Papley) but as you say JS may not be great.

Nice point on Brand, played all three NAB games, horrific scoring but at least he may well play. It'll only take one or two good (by good I mean anything half respectable lol) games to get his price on the rise at least.

Just really need teams so that I have a better idea of what combinations will work.

The thing is we always assess a rookie's JS against the Utopia of the team having no injuries. This really never happens. An AFL season is like a war of attrition.

Downgrade Dea, move Brown back and sit Tippa on your forward bench.

Collins won't play round 1 so swap him for Tippa. Would think about Dea to Adams too.
